  Comfortable Hotel

  We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was Clean Comfortable and friendly. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It is a very good location for seeing all the sights of Hameln. Across the road from the museum, in the middle of the shops with lots of eatery's and places to have a drink

  Great location

  We booked this hotel knowing it was in the centre of the old town but did not realise that we could not drive our car to the address on the website as it is a predestination area...drove around for another half an hour until we found the back entrance. The hotel is nice and the service staff were a little blunt, the room though was quite hot as there is no air conditioning or fans and they are just big enough for a double/twin bed. Cleaning staff should be put on the front counter as they were great. It does have a wonderful facade in the pedestrian mall, breakfast was reasonable to see you through to lunch. Also their Wifi network requires you to log onto another site and register....a real pain

  Great hotel, Great location, Huge room

  We enjoyed everything about this hotel. Perhaps our experience was influenced by the spectacular size and beauty of the suite we were given (see photos), but everything else really was nice. The staff was helpful and spoke excellent English. The location was very convenient to everything, especially the Christmas Market. The breakfast room was warm and cheerful.

  A little basic for the price

  I lived in Hameln a few years ago and this was a nostalgic trip back. We picked this hotel due to its location and i found it wanting to be honest. Clean and spacious i was disappointed that for the price the rooms were not en suite. Breakfast is available for a price as is car parking, again for a price.

  Rude waitress, mediocre food

  We chose this fine-looking hotel restaurant because we wanted to eat a typical Wiener Schnitzel, and it was on the menu. We waited at the entrance to be shown a table and the waitress, when she finally showed up, just waved her hand and said, in German, "Sit where you want". The rest of her service was barely civil and verging on downright rude.She waited until she plonked the hot food on our table to tell us "You can get your salad at the salad bar", which was annoying because we would have enjoyed it while we were waiting. The Schnitzel was disappointing, two piece of meat, too thick and just mediocre. French fries about the same. We were there 4/08/2017 at lunchtime.
