Place for one night stopHotel gives you enough for one night stop not really more. Some of the rooms needs renovation. Hotel is specialised for bigger groups and not so much for individual travellers. Restaurant have very often a buffet only what is designed for eldery people. Some of the staff are friendly but overall picture is that everybody is really busy. Reservation needs to be doublechecked before arriving.

Rooms are death traps - just like the evening buffet - stay away at any costConveniently located close to the Autobahn, this might seem as a good choice for a 1 night overlay on your way further south or north - It's not ! The hotel lobby, restaurant and hallway areas are old and filthy. Staff is as such friendly enough. when we arrived and parked our car in the lot, my wife saw this shady guy walking around We were afraid that he was looking into cars to break into them - It later turned out that he was some form of janitor - that is when he was not drinking beers from cans while walking around in the hotel premises. The so called family room we got was a room with no daylight. The only actual window faced a dirty shaft. Room was filthy and moldy and had some plaster sections of a wall which was cut out somewhere else in the hotel as part of 'renovation' standing in the middle of the room as the centerpiece of attention - we were afraid to sleep there as there were no firealarms, escape plans or anything else you'd expect from a safety standpoint. At the restaurant, me and two of our children had the buffet - my wife and youngest did not want to eat there. The buffet was the only thing you could get...everything, and I mean everything was the poorest quality directly from the freezer - poor meat, poor vegetables, no salads, no bread or anything ...there was a so called gullasch ... I didn't try it ... it would take a drill hammer to punch holes in the skin of the sauce - it was pure eating to survive, but price tag said 'medium level restaurant'. As we arrived quite late we felt that we had no other options than to take the room travelling with 3 small kids and a dog - I would however NEVER stay in this place again - it's old, dirty, dangerous and expensive - stay away at any cost - I'd rather sleep in my car.

Perfect travellers overnight stopThis hotel is absolutely ideal for those travelling through Germany or to/fro Denmark. Next to the motorway - but no road noise. A petrol station next door. Clean, functional room. Really good dinner. Nice choice of wines (- straightforward and delightful). Flexible - dogs allowed, in the room and in the restaurant if theyre well behaved and inconspicuous. Not expensive and worth every penny !

Proximity to the ferry and autobahn, low standard rooms, favourable serviceA place for overnight stay before or after the Denmark ferry. Be aware of the basement rooms, they are impregnated with moulds. But, when we made that remark, we were immediately moved to another house with nice rooms. The so-called internet access is just that, so-called. The proximity to the autobahn and the ferry is definitely favorable. The meals were really nice (dinner and breakfast), and with a positive service attitude.

An ok overnight stopWe stayed here while traveling from Denmark to central Germany we arrived mid afternoon, the reception said we where in a guest house next to hotel, I said I booked the hotel not a guest house and she moved us back into hotel. The rooms are small and we had the smallest shower Ive ever seen but water was hot, beds where comfortable what more can you ask. Ive read some reviews said it was dirty I have to say our experience was the rooms and hotel was clean. The beer from the bar took ages to arrive and was warn German beer normally cold. We ate in the restaurant that night and I have to say the food was lovely a little expensive for the place it is but good all the same. The location was great just off the autobahn and we never had any road noise rooms very warm at night only a very small window.
