  Not bad

  Hotel is not bad but not perfect. Very clean, staff are very friendly in all sections but we were disappointed for many reasons. first we booked a senior suite supposing to include a kitchinette but there were none! The website doesn't mention that the pool opens from 10 am to 6 pm only!!!! We were expecting to spend the night by the pool. There were leaking from the AC into the closet that led to wetting our clothes and when we noticed we were about to leave but we didn't get even a apology! Anyway it wasn't so bad due to the nice ambiance and on floor staff but not to visit again!

  Extremely POOR

  Unfortunately we we're deceived. The breakfast buffet is extremely poor and never changes. The personnel are either unfriendly or neutral. The suite kitchenette is empty: You must bring your own plates, glasses and even spoons. For sure I'll never go back there

  Its Oki

  The location of the Hotel is bad as its far from the city and shops. We ordered the food online. The Room is Oki. The view was very nice. It was clean. The breakfast was Oki not a large variety. Nothing fancy. The staff are nice and helpful

  Best staff I ever deal with

  Positives The advantage of the Zocotel is the staff ... Mr. Naja's smile at the reception - Toni's respect and respect - Miss Janine's attention - Even Uncle Hani serves you at all - And Maryam do the best for you The swimming pool is very beautiful and large - the suites are spacious - just the view of the swimming pool is beautiful - the breakfast is fixed does not change but is considered adequate and acceptable - excellent breakfast quality The price is excellent and is considered cheaper for services The staff is helpful in everything The staff and especially the man in of the pool bar is honest / We were always forgetting our phones and money and every time the receptionist spoke to us to take them ... - - - - - - - - -/- Negatives The hotel is very old and the furniture and covers must be changed (some rooms are renovated) - the location is bad on a steep road and there are no services, restaurants and facilities nearby - look only at nearby buildings except the poolside rooms The lifts are very old I expect this is the oldest hotel furniture I have ever seen ( ) - -

  Ok place to stay

  I would have given this 3/5, but I can't get past not having a non-smoking room as an option. My friends and I stayed here as a convenient location to go scuba diving out of the nearby marina. For that purpose, the location is great; for seeing Beirut, the location is inconvenient. The staff were friendly enough. The pool outside looked nice, though we did not spend any time there. The room was fine and had a nice balcony. The bathroom was very dark, and the shower head sprayed water everywhere except where it was pointed. Super cheap!
