  Excellent stay! Loved my apartment. Highly recommend.

  I spent nearly 3 weeks in Santiago helping a friend with some medical issues. I was one of the first guests in my ZIP Apartment. The apartments, value and location are fantastic. I loved the light, simple modern decor - lots of wood, marble and glass. The doormen, management and cleaning staff are all really friendly, professional and helpful. The highlight is the rooftop pool area with spectacular 360' views of Santiago and the mountains. I relaxed in the sun and swam each day and also occasionally enjoyed the sunset (I bought some plastic cups and took a drink up - there is no shade so don't forget hat and sunscreen). Lots of great restaurants and cafes are within a few blocks away including the very popular pizza place Tiramisu. There is a supermarket, a bank/ATM and several pharmacies within 1 block. I was right near 2 metro stations with easy access to taxis and buses on Apoquindo and Uber through the WiFi which worked well. The apartment was new, spotless, well equipped and very comfortable, especially the bed and pillows. I popped over to the Unimarc supermarket and bought a bottle opener, a can opener, some tin foil and plastic containers as well as basic supplies like oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, tea, milk (in the boxes), almond milk etc.and then any food or drinks I felt like including fresh packaged salads, empanadas, fresh bread, beer and wine (but bring a bag or two as they only allow 3 plastic bags per customer). I was able to cook full meals for 4 a few times and get prepared foods from the supermarket or various cafes like Tavelli (great chicken salad). The oven, microwave, stove top, toaster, kettle and coffee maker all worked well and the fridge and freezer are a good size. The bathroom is compact but very nice, clean and new with a great shower and good towels, toiletries and blow dryer. There is air con in the bedroom but the window does not open - I used it a bit during the day then turned off at night and left the window open in the living room. It gets pretty hot during the day but is still quite cool at night in Santiago over the summer most days. I bought a little transformer and adapter for the plug in Escuela Militar (down the stairs 1 block away) to charge my computer and phone. Electricity in Chile runs at 220 Volts and 50 Hz and the plugs have 2 round prongs (thinner than Europe). There is parking and garage access direct to the elevator which was very convenient. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

  Hotel meets home, highly recommended.

  My husband and I had the best experience staying at Zip. We stayed for about 6 weeks in total and were taken care of by Daniela who works for the apartment. She was so kind, accommodating, prompt, and she spoke English which was lovely! The building itself is new, has a beautiful rooftop pool and has air conditioned bedrooms (which we found hard to come by in Santiago and VERY necessary). The building is located perfectly in Las Condes with the subway nearby and a nice grocery store as well. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance. The kitchens are all equipped so we were also able to do a lot of cooking in the apartment. We will definitely recommend this building to friends and will definitely stay again when we visit Santiago in the future!

  Beautiful apartments

  Loved this apartment hotel!! Located in a convenient area, near the subway station Alacantara. Grocery store, pharmacy and banks nearby. Beautiful design, great kitchen and beds are very comfortable. Room is new and very clean. Rooftop pool is lovely, but the water was too cold. Gorgeous view from the roof. Definitely recommended!! Note: there is no signage or formal entrance, so its difficult to identify on arrival. The actual office for the hotel is in the building next door.

  Other that the W Santiago or the Ritz I stay with Zip!

  The location at on Magala is wonderful. I absolutely love this neighborhood! Every time I have stayed here I have had a wonderful stay, the front desk guys are great, they do not speak much English if any at all, but they are extremely friendly. The apartments are always spotless, comfortable, and feel like home. Compared to the W Santiago you probalby will not see any celebrities but at about $400 less a night this place is the best deal in the city.
