  Good value, good location

  By US standards, it was similar to an older Best Western. It is close to Metro Lines 2 and 4 for easy travel throughout the city. Relatively close to People's Square, Pearl Tower, The Bund, and Yu Garden. Located in the Pudong area. Reasonably priced. For those who struggle with communicating in Chinese, this hotel could be a challenge. A little patience and grace are in order; after all, you are staying in their country! Staff tries hard to speak English. Just remember their English is probably better than your Chinese. Would consider staying there again.

  Bad hotel for the price

  I don't recommend, considering the price of 680RMB you can get better hotels in Shanghai. The rooms are old and small, internet wireless doesn't work, staffs don't speak english, terrible. The breakfast is very simple and it is not good. It is very difficult to get some help at reception,

  Value for Money if visiting Pudong fairs

  Checkin: very fast Booking: Through ELong We stayed on the 17th floor and had an amazing view of the bund. Comparing the previous comments i can conclude that renovations have been one inside the rooms and they are much better. It Located very close to the Bund on Pudong Side, close to Metro Station, lots of Chinese eateries around and it has a 24hr Family mart right next to the reception. It is less than 1km from Marriott Pudong. Did not try the breakfast. No problems with WiFi and English language. They organised taxi for us at 3am to go to the airport. During the fairs it is very difficult to get a good room at decent prices thus at those peak days this hotel is value for money on pudong side.

  Not so bad

  I stayed at this hotel for business. I guess, so called, common business inn it is. Hotel fee is relatively cheap and reasonable for me. The hotel is budget friendly. However, convenience store Family Mart is existing beside the hotel. Very useful ..

  Nothing special

  Rooms are pretty small. hardly any English spoken....room has fridge but was not plugged in and empty......price a bit over the top for this quality....has a convenience store next to the reception....internet ( wifi) very poor and complicated to connect.
