  Hotel de lujo a un precio muy conveniente.

  Hotel extraordinario , nuevo, con enormes habitaciones, algunas con bonitas vistas al río. Grandes espacios y en general muy buen servicio. Buen desayuno y restaurant. Gran piscina aunque no temperada. La única queja sería el bajo nivel de inglés del personal.

  Horrible Chinese hotel with an American name

  My 1-star review is an over-rating of this hotel. Every aspect of thia terrible hotel is a disappointment. They had 1 person checking in guests so at 10:30pm I had to wait 15 minutes to check in. Got to the room, trying to order room service, which took 15 minutes juts to order because NOT ONE PERSON IN THIS HOTEL SPEAKS ENGLISH. Besides a salad, nothing on the menu is vegetarian. They have a Vegetarian Minestrone soup made with chicken broth. I kid you not. I asked them to bring me a roll of bread, the response was 'hotel has no more bread. I asked for a salad with 2 dressings, they brought 1 butter sauce. Sent them back for 2 salad dressings, they came back with 1 dressing. 3rd time's a charm. Tried to turn on the air, fan worked but was blowing out hot air when set to 16 degrees C. Called down tk get an engineer. Another 10 minute conversation to explain what an air conditioner is. Technician comes pushes a few buttons and rattles off in Chinese. Didn't fix anything. So I'll try to go to sleep in the heat. Can't sleep because there's a party with loud obnoxious Chinese guys screaming and playing loud music. Call down to complain. They don't understand and don't respond. So off to a full day of work on 3hrs sleep. You're better off sleeping on a park bench. It's amazing that Marriott puts their name on this product.

  Not 5 star hotel

  I am sorry to say so but this is not a five star hotel. Rooms are good though but a lot of things are missing. When I arrived there were no hangers for my shirts. In the morning I wanted to make coffee but there was no spoon in the room. Also people just smoke anywhere and they dont do anything about it. The restaurant was ok for chinese but for a western guy like me it was very bad and so little choice. This was the same for breakfast, and you expect a hotel like this to serve fresh orange juice, but know just some lemonade what needed to go for orange juice. Coffee was bad too, so still no coffee for me. Also the temperature in the hotel was quite high they need to control much better. My suggestion is when you have to stay here just sleep here and take your food somewhere else.

  Unexpected excellent

  Hotel is located 15 mins from High speed train station. The limo service provide free wifi in the car and a power bank to recharge the phone. It is a 4 years old hotel and is well maintain. You dont feel like in a second tier city becoz the breakfast is like any hotels in Beijing or Shanghai. Staffs are very friendly and willing to help. Excellent gym and a indoor pool. Room is spacious and is good enough for family for 4 to stay. For sure will consider this hotel when i am heading to Taizhou again.

  Highly recommended

  I travel frequently for work (about 115 nights a year). I must say this hotel is the best in the area. The rooms are nice and clean, the gym is better than most hotel gyms Ive been at and the breakfast is similar to that of Hong Kong or shanghai. Where the hotel really shines is with the staff. They are some of the nicest hotel staff Ive ever met!! It was EXTREMELY busy at dinner - the entire buffet area was packed and I stopped a gentlemen (Toby) who was in a rush to ask him where I can find vegetarian sushi and some vegetables. He went out of his way to help me out and to my surprise, for the next 4 days I was in the hotel at supper time the staff always had pre made sushi put aside for me and remembered what I wanted and made it without even asking. Ive never been to a hotel in China and experienced staff that went above and beyond like this, it was truly appreciated. A big thanks to the taizhou Marriott staff!! Looking forward to my next stay
