  hotel bueno.

  Estuve en este hotel para 3 noches. Y mi gusto mucho. Hotel esta en centro y hay mucho centro comercailes alrededor. Los habitacion de hotel son muy grandes y muy bonitos. Yo estuve en piso 22 desde donde tenia buena visita de ciudad. El recepcion de hotel esta en piso 25. El desayuno tenia muchos opciones para comer lo mismo durante la cena. En suma es el hotel muy lindo.

  Excellent Hotel

  A lovely hotel right in the centre of a vibrant shopping precinct. Very comfortable and well appointed. The best part was the restaurant, breakfast was a massive fusion of western and eastern food, we went for Chinese food and tasted dishes that I have never seen before. We went back for the buffet dinner and were stunned again at the choice of exotic dishes. There was a free light show in a square a couple of hundred meters up the road which was quite spectacular. The only thing that Chinese hotels don't do well is the service of alcohol, to western tastes, there is plenty of beer, but not much else other than very top shelf spirits. A holiday for the liver!

  Luxurious though a bit noisy

  Zhejiang Grand Hotel is the official name of this hotel so don't get it mixed up with Zhejiang Narada Grand Hotel. This was on a busy street so was a bit noisy in the morning. The reception desk was on the 25th floor which was strange. I tried to check out the karaoke but none of the employees on that floor spoke English which cut my efforts short. Breakfast was good enough with Asian and western options.

  Weird set up

  We entered the hotel lobby and checked in as a group, we were told however that the real reception is on the 25th(!) floor. We took the liberty of visiting it out of curiocity and it was a small desk nothing spectacular. The walls were nicely decorated though. The breakfast area was spacious and with a good variety. The rooms were also decorated with dark wooden furnitures and shelves. The mini bar was however locked. I assume is because we were checking in as a group. WiFi was free in all areas and since the user name and pass were related to our passport we had to wait some 30 min till they were registered into the system. Overall I would say it is a 4 and a half stars rather than 5 but is was OK and the bed large and quite comfy.

  Looks good but

  Our travel agent arranged this hotel for us.Its 4 star and in many ways it was. This is a 3.5 rating. Our room was spacious, hotel was well located and breakfast was satisfying. It was better than a couple of 4 star that we stayed in. Its a weird set up for foreign travelers. As you enter the spacious lobby from the street, there is a desk and a couple of uniformed folks standing there but they speak no English. You really have yo spot the sign that tells you reception is on the 25 floor. This is super inconvenient when you have questions, need info Etc to Have to go up to 25. Staff was not super helpful but hope it was just the language barrier. My big beefs were two superficially our room was great except the shower tile along the bottom was teeming with mildew and the walls and floors were paper thin and whomever was above us was practicing a tumbling act all night long or experiencing one heck of a romp. Walls the same way, we could hear ppl next door sneezing.
