  Place with potential

  Positive: Really nice staff (especially Abu a.k.a. Super Hero) and a nice and helpful manager as well. The first night we got a new room because our room had cockroaches and a lot of ants and was sprayed. Much appreciated! Kids really liked the swimming pool. The food is awesome: delicious and big portions and as far as we have experienced the best food in town (including The Rock). We got bikes to use free of charge. Negative: Beds were too short for tall people like me (1m89). Rooms were not cleaned during our stay (you would expect at least a daily sweeping of the floor). We had quite a few cockroaches and plenty of big ants. Unavoidable in a low budget place, but some cleaning might have helped. Mosquito nets were way too small and full of holes, which make them useless. My oldest son woke up in the middle of the night with a cockroach next to his face.

  Peace in the East coast

  Lovely location.New owners busy making a difference. Pool great, staff are helpful and friendly. By June/July things should be aokay. Good luck to them and know they can fulfill their dream. Food good and they plan to expand. Cocktails coming but just after we leave

  Lovely stay at Zeru Zeru

  We enjoyed a lot our Stay at Zeru Zeru, a nice calm place with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The stuff working there is very friendly and try to make your stay a good experience. And the food was very, very good with fair prices! I can definitely recommend this place.

  Great place to relax,meet people

  We spent in Zeru zeru 5 weeks, place is in beautiful garden with birds, very nice Staff, pool to cool down, good price if you stay here for longer time, you can meet then interesting people, area nearby is quiet and beautiful.we highly recommend zeru zeru.

  Pretty property scammed by paul.

  Stayed here with my daughter we couldn't shower as it didnt work but we let that go as were happy enough because we found the guys Juma & Joseph really friendly&helpful. However paul is a scammer and tried ripping us off so we left here on a bad day. When I first arrived food prices was twice what we'd seen on TripAdvisor apparently this was down to new owner which is fine however my booking clearly stated that kids breakfast was half price but he wouldnt allow that. I insisted on paying for what we had on the day as I didnt want any shifty bill on our leaving. Anyway on our leaving day I went to pay for the bill for the day before and Paul was trying to overcharge me. I had got the prices of everything when we first got there so I knew what I was spending the guy told me beers was $3 each but on this last bill because he couldn't scam me he said now beers was $4 each making them more expensive than at boutique hotels. Anyway upping the price of beers on the spot after we had them trying to scam us made us leave on a bad note for the place we'd put up with not being able to clean for 5 days due to our good nature and how much we liked Joseph & Juma. The food was good portion sizes. Again we I cant praise Joseph & juma enough joseph even spent time playing with me and my daughter and Juma fixed bikes for us to ride and always made a effort to talk but being robbed by paul ruined the holiday. The blue lagoon boat trip I booked through zeru zeru was great we loved it and the guy on the boat was great with us and swam with us pointing things out we actually saw a sea snake he brought food for the snorkeling to for the fishes to eat from our hands. The property itself looks very pretty grounds is calm and peaceful and the cleaning girl was very sweet I was going to leave tip but paul scammed that
