World SkierThe WiFi is awful. Apparently they have tried for years to have their in house non-talent manage things and the result is inexcusable. Dont plan on doing anything that requires connectivity and a stable internet connection.

Do not book 1709 slopeside with Karyn ColeShe posted the place to sleep 8 on Expedia. The place has 2 beds and a you can feel the spring sofa bed. So best sleep 5. The view is great to the gondola. But nothing magnificent. Worst part, parking is $2/hr or $18/day if you never move your car. Guess what, there was no shampoo and a 30ml shower gel enough for two shower by one individual. I have stayed in many many hotels and condos in the mountain, and this one is inadequate to minimum requirement. Book other units that is managed by Winter Park.

Decent but not worth the moneyHaving traveled around the globe I had high expectations for this place. Unfortunately, while it was nice and perfectly located, the quality was subpar. We had loosely fitting electrical sockets, burned out light bulbs, no extra linen (given we had a party of four) and the sofa bed was designed by a torture freak (boys felt better sleeping on the floor). The staff was nice but our few attempts at asking for directions was extremely frustrating. Google proved to be much more reliable. Wifi was ok but up and down our whole stay. You cannot beat it for proximity though as you can crawl out onto the slopes and into stores in minutes.

LOCATION PERFECT - AND THAT'S ABOUT ITI'll start with the positives: 1. Perfect location 2. The unit itself (2319) was acceptable and we really enjoyed the fireplace. 3. Smooth check-in process and prompt responses from the owner on all questions Unfortunately the list of positives ends there. I was very disappointed in the lack of amenities offered. No room service (even garbage pick or old towel removal). I was incredibly upset about the closure of fitness rooms and hot tubs. I was fully aware of this before coming on the trip, but upon arriving and seeing how limited other activities or dining was available at the base, I wish the HOA would have put more of an effort in to open these safely. Simply setting reservations would have done the trick.Other resorts and hotels managed to do this, I do not know why Zephyr couldn't figure it out. And finally, the thing that made me incredibly irate and is why I would never stay again, is the parking costs. It was advertised on the website that the parking was $18/day and I was prepared for that. I was NOT prepared for the INSANE rules that were associated with coming and going. The price was always more than expected when we left and never seemed to align the the "rules" that were complicated in and of itself. The fact that you pay each time you come and go is unheard of! The base village only has so many offerings and you can't walk into town so it's IMPOSSIBLE to not have to leave. I can't express enough how upset I was and felt taken advantage of and misled we were with the parking cost.

Super Stay in Unit 1601!We just go back and all I can say is location, location, location. It was great being right next to the Gondola so we could just walk out, put on our skis and ski down to the lift line. We loved having the ski lockers on the 2nd floor. How wonderful to just put your boots and skis in the locker and walk up to the room for a quick lunch or a short, warm break. And to walk out to the village at the bottom of the mountain was great as well. Super fantastic. Unit 1601 was exactly as described and pictured. Love the cozy fireplace while lying on the couch watching the snow fall. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything was super clean. There as a great balcony with a couple of chairs to sit and watch skiers go by, Communication with the management company was all via text which worked out great. They were super communicative before, during and after. Great service! If going back to Winter Park, we would stay there again for sure!
