  Not what I expected

  It is not near the train station. The surroundings are like if you where in the middle of a unknown suburd. There are not interesting nor nice place to visit near the area. The sofa-bed was a little unconfortable. As SkepticB wrote on his/her review, sundays might be close, but if you reserved through the appart city webpage, they should give you a code to enter the building and/or another code to open like a securitybox where your keycard is. (that's happened to me in the appart City of Bourdeaux, guess is the same for all). But... is better is you stay somewhere else!

  Dont go to this hotel!!

  I stayed at this hotel with my son and my elderly neighbour after visiting the Normandy beaches where my neighbour had landed to lberate france in 1944. We had spent 3 nights in Caen at the premiere clas nord( highly recommended!) and the last night(saturday the 8th june 2013), at the apartcity in Le Havre. On the website it looks lovely, clean rooms very bright and well equipped. In reality it is a dump! filthy rooms, worn out fittings and decoration, smelt of body odour and smoke, and stains on the carpets etc. When booked, it included breakfasts, but as we returned the keys we were asked for 21 euro's for the beakfasts! A total rip off. The disaster does end there, after arriving, we decided to drive into town to get a meal and drink, and were harrassed by a french thug in a car, who pulled up in front of our car, gesturing hand signals, then got out and came to our car and was threatening, pulled open the rear pasenger door and assaulted my son. We quickly drove away and reported the incident. We were all totally shocked by this unprovoked attack and drove back to the hotel. The area outside the hotel is littered with rubbish and drug paraphanelia, drunks and drug addicts and would be gangster types in the streets. delapidated buildings with drug addicts directly opposite the hotel! There was at least 10 piles of dog mess in the street and road, and a frenchman was actually letting his dog do its buisness right outside the hotel entrance. This place is definately one to avoid at all costs, especially for health and safety reasons. The french that stay here(mostly) obviously have no objection to this filthy place, so one can only assume that they are used to it!. The whole of Le Havre is a filthy town, nothing on this earth would get me back here again, and to both myself and my war veteran companion, we are of the opinion that why did we bother to liberate these filthy ungrateful people.The pictures on the websites are not what you get, so anyone thinking of booking this, remember...........i have warned you!!!

  MALO ... MALISIMO ...

  Este apartahotel está en una zona bastante mala apartado del centro y apartado de todo,con mala comunicación. Las instalaciones son pésimas,pequeñas y lo peor muy sucias y descuidadas. La recepción para la atención al público es muy restringida dirigiéndote a unos teléfonos donde nadie te atiende. El "director" de este hotel no es capaz de resolver los problemas que él mismo crea,además de tener muy mala educación en el trato de los clientes. Mejor evitar este hotel.

  Buena experiencia

  + La habitación muy limpia. Lo mismo con el vestíbulo (nada que ver con otros apartotel como por ejemplo el que hay al lado de la estación de tren de Tours). + Cocina (tiene dos fogones y una mini-nevera) + Proporcionan toallas, champú, gel y botellas de agua. + Posibilidad de parking (coste adicional). + Personal amable - Contactan contigo antes para proporcionarte el código de entrada al Aparthotel. La ubicación es aceptable, siempre que se viaje con en vehículo particular. El sitio no me pareció malo para hospedarse varias noches. Se puede estar bien en el apartamento, al menos en la habitación que me tocó.

  Poor facilities unsuitable location

  Cooking facilities hot plate and microwave no oven which made it difficult to cook as we were staying there 4 days. You had to put kettle or coffee machine on floor to switch on as there were no plug points in the kitchen area except the one on the floor by the door. No sofa as picture shows so only seats were 2 odd chairs. No instruction on what you had to do in apartment like rubbish cleaning there were the instruction leaflets for operating the appliances. Location in very poor and noisy area and we did not feel safe to walk even during the day. The room and corridor smelt of smoke all the time we were there and we asked reception to spray to no avail .Definitely not suitable for families because of poor facilities and area. No hotel services as stated in the brochure or on line, no clean towels, tea towels and bed linen changes. The good points were a balcony which we requested and paid extra for and the garage facilities were good and we paid extra for. The WIFI which we paid extra for, they give you a plug in to link you up but you have to put a lead into your laptop/Ipad to receive the internet so defeated the object
