  Suited us perfectly

  We usually stay at chambre d'hotes but due to a mixup on our part, had to find something at short notice. It was nice for a change to be able to have cooking facilities although they were very basic. They did the job. Fridge, microwave, 2 burner cooktop. Quite a spacious apartment with a balcony and also spacious bathroom. It was quiet at night, secure, clean, not too far from the centre. Not too expensive. I would certainly recommend.

  Fabulous place to stay

  What a find! Gorgeous appartment hotel, set in gated grounds. Roomy, clean, unbelievably quiet, it was such a restful place to stay. Really comfy bed, large wet room/bathroom. Plenty to do in this area but we went to the local patisserie and ate on the balcony. Delightful, we cannot wait to go back. Incidentally the owner, a very chic french lady could not do enough to ensure e had everything we needed.

  Part of a retirement village

  Although this property advertises itself as an appartement hotel, it is actually rooms at one end of a retirement village close to the centre of Nevers. It would be difficult to find without a GPS as there is no signage for the hotel in the one way street where the complex is situated We had a studio room which was spacious and clean but very basic. The bathroom was designed for wheelchairs which we found a little confronting. There are no curtains although the garden outlook is attractive. However, for privacy, there is only an outdoor shutter. Staff were friendly and check-in was efficient. The ability to walk to so many of the attractions was a plus but I doubt if handicapped people would manage the narrow footpaths and cobblestones around the hotel. Perhaps the hotel website should disclose the fact that it is part of a retirement village. Another consideration is the fact that the room rate is relatively inexpensive for France

  Apartamento tranquilo

  Se encuentra en una urbanización privada y tranquila. El apartamento tiene lo justo para cocinar. Es espacioso. La única pega es que las sillas y el sofá están tapizados y sucios. Estaría bien que cambiaran las sillas por unas de madera que se limpian bien. Por dentro estaba el resto limpio, pero la terraza y los aleros de las ventanas les hubiera venido bien un repaso de limpieza.

  Perfect for a short stay

  We stayed only 1 night in the hotel on our way back to Brussels and booked 2 studios. Both were really big with a small kitchenette, a nice sitting area, a small dining table and a balcony. Automatic blinds outside the windows making it possible to keep windows open at night. The bathroom is big too but the shower is not practical at all as it is open so water goes everyday (save the toilet roll before having your shower ) I believe the one we got was more for an handicapped person. Warm welcome when we arrived and we received all the information we needed. There is a free parking around the hotel but I would not recommend parking below the big trees I found many sticky spots everywhere on the roof and also bird dejections, the car was really dirty and in a need to go to the carwash. The hotel itself is nice, extremely quiet with a nice park and secured as the front door closes at 20H but you may enter with your electronic key. There is a small Carrefour Market 2-3 minutes away by car where you can buy all you need. There are also permanent residents in the hotel and a retirement house next door. Before leaving (check-out is quite early), don't forget to clean any utensil you would have used from the kitchen otherwise there is a fee of 15 euro.
