Cheap hence left a lot to be desiredCheap for all those backpackers ... just so not expect the same level of comfort from 3 star hotel. Currently undergoing refurbishment so need to deal with paint smell. You could easily this place if you are driving as it well hidden. We got a room with 4 single beds for RM115 a night. Quite a bargain I must say.

Won't come back againPrice are reasonable and full of many types of room choices. But the room that I stay was so terrible, light on automatic without switch on and bed is dirty.I am a traditional Chinese lady,d moment I saw d mirrow is facing d entrance door and my bed is facing d window,I really can't sleep well at night.Having nightmares all night and smell bad from toilet too.I really don't like the Feng Shui of the hotel where located beside train railway.Sorry to say so,but no next time.

Ok for overnight stayBooked a family room with 2 queen size beds. Reviews as follows: Check - in Front desk was polite and fast in expediting our room. Security was tight as you required your room card to access into the lift located beside the entrance of the hotel lobby. Room : a typical Budget hotel, toilet was a bit run down. Heater and air con working fine and beds are relatively clean. Toothbrush was provided but not for the rest of standard toiletries. Location: pretty remote location as you need to enter to a small lane and it was rather quiet but I feel safe as I had my local buddy, working in CP SAS Protection in Johor Bahru who escorted me and Ensure I enter the lift safely before he left. For those driving, I would advise you to set your gps using the local wave apps which is more accurate and download the CP SAS Protection Apps whenever you are in JB as their response to your aid in need of emergency are swift and responsive. Ok for overnight stay as it is rather affordable as you can beat the custom jam in the morning and can leisurely check out after a good night rest and start your tour in JB.

Hotel that matches your budget beautifully.Excellent hotel for the budget savvy. I booked the hotel through a third party which offered a good discount. Very good location as it is centrally located.Room is clean. Hot water shower provided. A LED TV although all Singaporean channels. Wondered why there was no chair provided in the room. Very convenient to move around . Limited restaurants nearby but manageable.Staff were very helpful. For the budget price, bottle of mineral water and coffee sachet were provided. Hot water for consumption purposes can be obtained from the first floor. Those who have work to do with the Indonesian Consulate, this is the best place to stay. The Consulate is just 300 metres away. Larkin Sentral Bus terminus is 8 km away. Zero complaints about this hotel for the price I paid.

Seedy/Shady Zen Zeng HotelHotel was in very bad condition. When we arrived at the hotel, there were many seedy ladies selling sex services at the hotel hanging out at the couches alongside with 5-7 other men. Since it was a budget hotel, we decided to make do with that and check in. When we check in and went to the VIP room that we book, the air-cons were not cold and seemed like they were in fan speed. We called the front desk and they did not pick up, so we went all the way down. There was an Indian man who came to assist us but still most of the VIP rooms were stinky and had a weird smell. They brought us to a few rooms to see if we could change to those but the air-con were all the same and we went down the hotel 5-6 times just to get their staff's help. As well, we couldn't even open the room door via the card and had to get the key from them. When we were heading down from our rooms to the front desk, each time we saw different prostitutes in the lift. The whole place was like a brothel instead of a hotel and perhaps they might even be residing in the hotel. We were very distressed as the receptionist only spoke Malay and she couldn't handle the issue when we wanted a refund. It was a very stressful situation as we did not want to go to the lower levels where there were many call girls leaving in and out of the place which made us felt so uncomfortable. Moreover, the reviews mentioned that some bedsheets were with weird stains and not cleaned. Warning you guys not to stay in such a seedy hotel/brothel.
