  Good location for a family holiday

  I stayed here 10 days ago with my two teenage sons on a Richmond Holiday which included water sports on the beach. The hotel is attractive and well set out with a range of seating areas in a very pleasant setting - upper terrace, pool loungers and cafe bar and also a beach bar for the sun seekers. The pool is a reasonable size with easy access steps. There is a table tennis room, tennis courts and small play area on one side of the hotel. The hotel room was a good standard with air-con, mini-fridge, TV and balcony with chairs and table. I liked the window system with integrated shutters, insect screen and glass window so you could vary the combination according to the conditions. Room service was prompt with clean towels if needed - all the staff were very pleasant. The half board food options were generally good with breakfast buffet including cereals, fruit/yoghurt and a hot selection and the evening meal with salad, hot Greek style buffet e.g moussaka/dolmadakia/pasta/vegetarian and fruit/dessert. Lunch from the pool or beach bar were purchased separately which included pizzas, burgers, pasta and a range of salads - these were excellent but less traditionally Greek. I agree to a certain extent the comments about lunches being better than evening meals but enjoyed the contrast between them. We kept mainly to soft drinks but enjoyed a cocktail evening - I tried a Samos mohito of the local sweet wine, lemon soda and mint which was delicious, refreshing and highly recommended. Overall view - lovely location in a quiet setting, beautiful views across to Turkey and likely to return.

  Great beech club and pool

  I only spend a day at their pool. I didn't stay at the hotel. The hotel has a large pool with plenty of pool beds around it. The beds are free of charge. Next to the pool is a restaurant and a bar. with plenty of seats. The staff is really friendly and want to give you a good time at their place. The restaurant serves local food which was fresh and very tasty. I enjoyed my day at the Zefiros Hotel.

  Loved it and returning next year!

  I have just spent a week at this hotel on a Richmond Holiday. Its a lovely family run Greek Hotel. If you are expecting 5 stars then this is not the place for you. The staff are wonderful and will do anything you ask with a smile. The room I had was a very cool and quiet. There was no bath plug but got one at reception. They give you some small bars of soap but I usually travel with my own soap and shampoo etc anyway. There is a hairdryer in the room too. The loungers on the beach are currently 2.50 to rent (all day). Loungers at the pool are free. You can rent a towel at reception for a deposit. They also have safe deposit boxes but I didnt so dont know the cost. The water is not suitable for drinking but you buy a 2 litre bottle of water for only a Euro. Im not a foodie but found the dinner and breakfast really nice. The food at the pool bar was excellent and wasnt hugely expensive. Cant think of anything else to say.

  Amazing

  Had two amazing breakfasts here whilst on holiday in Paleokastrisa, set perfectly on the beach front. The service was great and the breakfast was fantastic, set perfectly close to the beach. just wish we found it before the end of our holiday!!

  Boring, Disorganized

  If you were to visit it, you wouldn't know it was a beach bar. Because really, all it is is just some scattered sunbeds, some under trees and others under some small umbrellas, with the waiters being as present as Jesus himself -- you'll have to wait until revelation to come true for them to come. Also the prices are way higher than they should be, for the quality of the goods there.
