Very good Staff!I loved being far into the country side. The water is excellent, and you can try being in the water with no tampering of the temperature or contents. Food was really good during dinner, we could have a filet each as part of it, very nice quality meat. Downside is that checkout is at 10:00. 11:00 would be perfect to enjoy the baths leisurely one more time!

Nice Onsen and Geat FoodA local friend of mine invited me to visit this place! The Onsen water was very special: smooth and slippy! I had it on the top floor open air Onsen pool. The view from the pool was geat! The Kaiseki Ryori set dinner was very elaborated, with a total of more than 10 items prepared in great details with attention to look and tast! Did not get a chance to stay overnight! Will do it next time!

Very polite staff, easy atmosphereI visited this Onsen with my wife's family and found it to be very relaxing with nice views, clean fresh forest air to breathe. The lobby had the smell of cigarettes which I am not accustomed to because of California's laws regarding public use of tobacco, so I am spoiled about that- but tobacco use is still common in Japan unfortunately so we can't fault the hotel. The Onsen itself has very good mineral-rich water and the surrounding area is very beautiful any time of year. There are probably some great little places to have a snack and coffee and absorb the local culture.

Relaxing RyokanHad business in Mie and host booked an overnight stay in this resort. We were picked up at train station by shuttle bus, convinient. Room spacious can accomodate maybe 6 to 8, but was alone, very traditional Ryokan tatami room. Dinner was superb, would have loved it if it was in a tatami room, but it was in a regular restaurant table. Matsusaka beef shabu shabu course was superb!!! Onsen was nice as well Temperature just right. Lucky it wasnt that crowded had the outdoor pool to myself. Outdoor private pool available for 3,000yen at 6th floor. Wifi is available not from hotel I think but it says Freewifi MIE!!! Good signal at 6th floor room.
