So good we stayed an extra two nightsAbsolutely delighted with this hotel which certainly grows on you the longer you stay. In fact we had planned to move elsewhere and changed our plan. Clean, tidy, friendly staff, great views from room over the bay and excellent base to discover the area. Food was excellent and changed each day ... was there for 4 days and never had same dish once which would explain some other comments on here. Adults enjoyed the bath with great views and kids loved the table tennis room. Overall a most pleasurable experience...we will be back!

With a good view of the Nanao Nishi BayThe hotel is located in front of the Nanao Nishi Bay. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had an unobstructed view of the Bay from your room . The service at the hotel was cozy and the staff were all very helpful. We had meals in the restaurants. The dinner was sumptuous and tasty with lots of seafood from the region. While the indoor onsen was not very large, we particularly enjoyed the outdoor onsen and its setting. There was a summer festival held at night not far away from the hotel with games booths and shows (one of which was a drum show). We were given two raffle tickets by the hotel staff, which really thoughtful. We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel.

Excellent service that makes one feels at home .....Wanted to bring my parents to experience an onsen experience and decided to choose this hotel. We were so impressed with the service that makes it one of my 5 stars rated experience. We were greeted on arrival by a senior Japanese lady who spoke good English and was led into the hotel. upon checking in and obtaining the keys , we were greeted by another lady who spoke to us in Japanese and when we said we couldnt understand she switched to English and from her accent I guessed she is not Japanese and I was right. The experience and services we received from her, Laika, was the main reason the hotel get such a good rating from me. Laika, who is Filipino , moved to Japan almost 10 years ago and she spoke fluent Japanese and her demeanor was very Japanese too. She ensured we got our rooms and that everything is taken care of. At the dinner restaurant she also ensure that we got all our food by translating and also came back to say goodbye before she left for the day....excellent service and thank you. The room is spacious and done in nice Japanese style and though the onsen experience is not one of my best but is adequate. Another highlight of the stay was the set dinner which was very good and left us very satisfied. The hotel is good for 2 nights stay in my view as otherwise the choice of meals get limited.

Luxureous, Original, Exclusively Japanese = a Must StayExclusively Japanese. This goes for the food, the bed (futon if a Western bed is not reserved), boiling hot-42 deg C-spa (shower is mandatory before you dip, naked and with a little white towel folded up and laid down on top of your head, genders separated). This was the only place in Japan were I spoke English to the guy next to me and he Japanese to me and still we understood each other.
