  There is a reason why you don't see much recent positive review of this hotel.

  The hotel is old. (Some site says this is built in 2007. No way. 1987, may be.) The rooms are dirty. There were mildew in the shower and window flame. The window flame is covered by dust that probably accumulated by months. Dirt on the carpet. Non-Smoking room smells like someone just smoked here. Tech is out of date. There is a WIFI Router on the table. The mini-fridge is dirty and had 2 can of Coke in there. The disposable slippers, although inside plastic bag, looked used. (The bottle looked gray.) The lobby was dark, only 2 people working there. They could only speak English in single word. (When asked for credit card for damage deposit, the guy behind the counter said "deposit".) The décor were so out of date. There are no sign of other customers around. People told me their buffet is cheap. I would not want to eat any buffet from places that has no traffic. I would not recommend this hotel for any occation. Stay away,

  Horrible!!

  Scary dirty! Mold spores! No better than camping outside. Aircon terrible would not get the room under 25, it was cooler outside and probably cleaner! I will quit my job if I ever have to stay here again! Tear it down and start over.

  Spectaular views of Dongguan

  On arrival the front desk service was good. The higher floors offer spectacular views of Dongguan. From my room I could see building in Bongcheng, and the hills around the Tongsha resevoir. However, the carpet in my room was dirty, and the breakfast was disappointing. There are many good shops and restaurants in the area. A short walk away is Xangshi Park. It is worthwhile visiting the park. There is a beautiful waterfall there, and the pagoda on the hill. There is also a museum within the park. I did not have time to see the museum. That will have to wait until next time I am in LiaobuTown.

  Good hotel

  Nice large hotel! Very convenient central location for business visits. Few nice Resturant are around too for change of food options. Only downside is hardly anyone in the hotel speak English! Only one person at the reception could talk! It's slightly worrying!

  One night.

  I stayed at this hotel for one night on business in Dongguan. The hotel is massive and the room I had was huge with an interesting window into the bathroom. the room seemed clean but had a slight smell of smoke and the air con was particularly noisy. The walls in the hotel seemed a little thin as I could slightly hear the tv on in the next room. The reception staff spoke very little english but I managed to communicate to get a iron and ironing board which was delivered to my room very quickly. (The board appeared to be home made and covered in an old curtain.) Breakfast was ok but there wasn't much of a western cuisine available.
