  Lovely place

  We stayed a week but would have loved to stay longer. We had a suite which was huge a bit dated but everything else made up for it. The staff go out of there way to be helpful the island is beautiful and the food great. If you want somewhere to chill this is the place if youre worried about the noise from the bar across the water have another of Jamess rum punchs or bring some ear plugs it didnt worry us but we were up the hill. A definite thumbs up.

  Fabulous stay

  My husband & I stayed a full day and night here , on our way from Bequia to St Lucia. Loved this resort! The water taxi transportation was very cool, the island is gorgeous..so lush & tropical and private.Our cottage was right on the beach..loved it, the views and the awesome outdoor shower.The floating bar is ultra cool, just wade or swim on out there & mix a drink! We also enjoyed using the kayak to paddle over to Fort Duvernette & explore. The food was so, so and service a tad slow, but when you are in your own private little paradise...no biggie.

  The Virus Ate Our Trip

  Scheduled to go...soon... we LOVE Young island. Corona is probably going to postpone our long planned return. If you love good good, friendly staff,the quiet of a real vacation. You will love this place.

  Fabulous holiday destination!

  We spent 7 wonderful days on Young Island! A place that will always hold a special place in my heart - a surprise 50th birthday gift and an even more surprising marriage proposal (I said yes!) Our cottage (number 20) had amazing sea views and was perfectly positioned, near enough for the facilities but away enough to be perfectly private. The all inclusive ala carte menu was great and the food was lovely. All of the staff were friendly and Bianca the manager was lovely too and keen to introduce herself to everyone. It was a week in paradise before returning to the Coronavirus mayhem! Do not hesitate in booking a holiday on Young Island it was blissful - relaxing on the private beach on a sun lounger or hammock - though a difficult decision as to which to choose ha!

  Best of Both Worlds!!

  Just got back from two weeks here. You have the joy of being in isolation from the world while having the conveniences of a full resort. No casino or nightlife here but a wonderful first class restaurant which featured amazing food!!! Instead of the usual souvenirs, we purchased loaves of cinnamon bread to take home to our loved ones. Highlights included the Saturday barbecue as well as the daily choices of seafood, each prepared a different way. The service here was excellent and Bianca and her staff do a top notch job of waiting on you. We only saw added people from a cruise on one day but the staff at the resort did well to make sure that guests who were staying there had chairs for themselves. The beach is nice, with some limited snorkeling out front with smaller fish and you are yards from St. Vincent. The noise that some other reviews referred to really did not factor into our enjoyment of our room. The outdoor shower was a plus. There was decent wi-fi throughout the resort. Overall, this was a great trip and we would highly recommend this to any couple seeking to disconnect from the world while retaining the comforts of home.
