  Excellent family run apartment complex

  Having found that our original hotel was closed due to the Covid pandemic, we were moved last minute to this apartment complex. Whilst this complex was further out of Kavos than originally planned, Hercules and his staff made us feel so welcome, safe and could not do enough to help us. I can not speak highly enough of Hercules, Alex, Marianna, Corina and all the staff. If you want a chilled and relaxing environment, this small complex is ideal. The pool is great, pool snacks are excellent and being small you get to know everyone very quickly. Kavos town centre is a 25 min walk or 7e taxi ride for more lively nightlife. I would definitely recommend the Yianetta Appts, and look forward to visiting them again in the future. You can always tell when someone cares about what they do, its more than a job to them. The accommodation is simple but enough, very clean and well maintained. Any faults are repaired quickly. Air con is available and definitely a must as its hot and WiFi is a god send for the children. WiFi is free around the pool area, and at a small cost in the rooms. All in all, top marks. Thanks Hercules!! Paul and family

  Pleasantly surprised ..

  Myself, partner and daughter stayed here the first week in September. We booked the week very last minute and didnt have a high expectation as a result but we were pleasantry surprised. The accommodation was basic but it was very clean, and the hotel was very friendly family and family run. .. food, drink, air con and the safe were very cheap .. and in fairness nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The weather was flawless. There arent any eateries/ bars nearby but it was only 7 euros to go into Kavos or Lefkimmi .. (Kavos is a busy young resort but its nice enough) and then 7 euros to get back to the hotel. Some people do not leave the hotel at all. They just fancied a resting week by the pool, an idea perfectly suited to this hotel. We noticed that lots of familys had stayed at this hotel year in year out and were good friends with the owners. The only one piece of constructive feedback i gave was that they need a welsh flag flying, they have England Scotland Ireland and Greece flying but no welsh dragon :-( Young Alex working on the bar said it is now on the to do list .. Hehe .. they are lovely people ...it was a nice holiday .. we may return .. Mr Davies and famalam from Tonypandy South Wales

  Loved our stay.

  If you want an exciting night life you need to be in the centre of Kavos. Yianetta is situated between Kavos and Lefkimmi in a quiet situation which was what we wanted. This is family run and Hercules & his team look after all your needs. Everything is fairly basic but good value, we paid extra for air con, safe & wifi in the room. We ate breakfast & dinner at the hotel several times & had no complaints and always had a drink in the evening, I enjoyed the cocktails Alex made! We did hire a car to tour the island for 3 days which was booked just down the road. The weather was glorious so we spend some time round the pool but also went to the beach where there is a Taverna Skaltsounis where you can have a sunbed for free providing you make purchases from them. There were guests at the Yianette who have been returning every year for 6 years to meet up so that proves what a good time they all have. I felt we were so lucky we had made our booking to come here prior to the corona virus & they were not on the quarantine list, we had a lovely time & felt so safe I did not want to come home. It was sad that the island has been so badly affected by the current situation and in general the island was very quiet lets hope that things will be able to return to a new normal next year.

  Lovely hotel

  Small and friendly hotel and the rooms were very clean and a good size The staff were fantastic and can't do enough for you.only thing is the hotel is out of town and a short taxi or 3 mile walk away. glad we stayed there as kavos is a bit of a dump.

  Fantastic Stay and grest value for money on a low budget!

  Booked this hotel last minute for cheap on a very good deal.. and glad that we did. The rooms are basic but had everything we needed including A/C (for an extra small fee). Hotel pool area was top class, the hotel bar was great and served pretty much everything you would find if you went into kavas town centre. The beer was 3 euros a pint and served in an ice cold glass which was dangerously good. They showed the football on the pool bar TV which I got away with watching from my sunbed. Couldn't praise the staff enough as they were all so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much of a problem for them. Definitely a covid compliant hotel, hand sanitizers everywhere, staff wore visors, maids wore disposable overalls and they sanitized each sunbed every time somebody got up and left. The hotel is a little out of the way from Kavos centre which I liked to be honest, but it was 7 euros E/W in and out each day, oir a 25 minute walk so me and my girlfriend just rented a moped for 100 euros for the week to save on this cost a little, and also allowed us to go exploring nearby beaches etc. Overall a great value for money holiday.
