  Amazing

  Brilliant place to stay.. Anne makes you feel so welcome and has done an amazing job with the social distancing and government guide line through this Covid 19 epidemic.. stayed in the garden room so quite and so clean.. room cleaned everyday towels and bedding changed everyday too.. would recommend this place to everyone. Breakfasts are cooked to perfection.. tea,coffee, bottled water provided in the room. Located in a quiet lane 5 mins drive from centre of brean and 10mins drive to Burnham-on-Sea.. 5 mins walk through the dunes to the beach..

  Short Break.

  Stayed at Yew Tree House, we had room 7 which was a garden room, large family room, with views of the garden which was lovely, Anne was very up to date with all covid and government rules. lovely breakfast, 10 minute walk to brean would recommend staying here thankyou for a lovely stay.

  2 night stay

  Another lovely visit to Yew Tree House. Ann and her husband can't do enough for you. They are obliging, friendly and they run the house really well. The covid information was clear and followed. Everyone was mindful of distancing but it honestly didn't change our experience. The breakfast was exceptional as before and there is so much to choose from. The room was roomy. We stayed in the main house and it was lovely and quiet. We had our 1 year old with us. He had plenty of room to walk around and lots to explore and see. In addition to this all the extra touches were in place. Chocolates, cotton pads, water, biscuits and a full caddy of tea and coffee options for all. The gardens are well kept and seating for sunny days is in abundance. Moreover the place has character with beams and a huge fireplace. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and is easily accessible. Very nice stay again and we will likely visit again next year.

  Cant wait to return

  This was our first stay and we cant wait to return. The rooms are comfy and very clean and the food is locally sourced and very tasty. The owners couldnt do enough for us and were very welcoming. The rooms were well stocked with a very full tea and coffee tray and thoughtful little extras such as a bowl of sweets and a box of extras in the both room. They have put very clear covid-19 measures in place which were easy to follow.

  A warm welcome

  We were visiting locally and wanted somewhere to stay nearby. We read the reviews and decided that Yew Tree House was right for us. As we were visiting locally we were not entirely sure of our plans. Lynne welcomed us early on Saturday morning so that we could get the key and then come and go as we wanted. The house is really beautiful full of interesting items, reflecting a full and interesting life. The room was lovely, really quaint with quality bedding and little things to make your stay nice. The bath was enormous and there was plenty of hot water. It also had a powerful shower. We slept well, with the quiet outdoors and the big starry skies and were had a hearty breakfast of our choosing the next morning. Lynne was so kind and we felt like we were staying at our favourite Auntie's house. If you are looking for sleek and modern this isn't for you, but if you are looking for a slice of history, unique, clean, warm, cosy and welcoming, you will like it here. We would definitely stay again.
