  Hotel tradicional, bien ubicado en Ryde, típico desayuno inglés.

  Es un pequeño hotel familiar, muy bien ubicado para el ferry de Portsmouth, cerca de la estación de autobuses, con comercios alrededor, donde comí el fish and chips más grande de mi vida.Internet algo lento, pero aceptable.

  Wonderful break.

  The hotel is a bit tired but the staff more than make up for this shortfall. Would like to mention in particular three members of staff, Lee, Ellie and Claudia who served us at breakfast and gave us a great start to the day with excellent service and a good sense of humour, which we feel is important especially in these times.

  A little dated but lovely views and friendly staff

  We stayed at Yelfs while we walked the entire Isle of Wight coastal path. They were very kind and allowed us to park our car in their car park for the 4 days we were walking around the island. The hotel itself is a little tired and dated but the staff are friendly. The sea view from our room was amazing. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The location is also good - very close to the coastal path for walkers and close to bars and restaurants.

  Comfortable hotel

  There are are many reviews saying how tired this hotel is, but it is really only the stairs and communal areas. Our room was lovely and roomy with a four poster bed, huge bathroom and views over the Solent. The breakfast choice was good and we didn't have to wait long for it. The staff were friendy. Social distancing in place. The car park can be tricky to find. Park nearby and book in to get the map, it's over the road behind shops but there are lots of one way roads in Ryde. I would definitely stay here again.

  Training Venue

  My colleague and myself were booked into Yelfs fo a week for training Key workers. The bedroom was clean, with crisp white sheets and towels, tea and coffee making facilities also available.. Breakfast was continental style left outside your room, due to the pandemic, brioche, a yogurt, juice and fruit, a full English would have been nice but the circumstances dictated that it was not possible. For the training we were supplied with tea at the start and mid morning followed by a buffet lunch and hot food for the final day of each group. I cannot comment on the bar and restaurant as they were closed due to the pandemic.nor the cost as it was paid for. The staff were polite and helpful
