  Quiet place

  We stayed at this hotel for one week in March 2013. We booked a seaview room with a nice view of both the ocean and the pool. The room was ok with a slow internet connection and standard Chinese bed (Rock Hard).The hotel is situated far away from any shops in a very quiet area, going to Sanya city center for shopping by taxi cost 28 Yuan one way. The hotel have two restaurants, one Chinese and one with Russian food. None of them is very good. The breakfast was a disappointment. The staff does not speak English but some speak Russian. All information about guided tours and so forth is written in Chinese and Russian. The beach is just one minutes walk from the hotel and there is a beach bar. There is a nice swimming pool which is empty most of the time. For relaxation it is a nice place.

  Best seaview room

  My sea-view room is located at 4th floor, absolutely 180 degree sea-sight, though the balcony is REALLY simple, but you can hear the sound of waves at night, and a little breeze from the sea, that's such a enjoyment, the bed is huge and well-located, take your girl and just HAVE FUN! BTW the sea-view room should be your only choice in this hotel, any other lower level room sucks.

  Value for money with nice seaview at a quiet place

  I booked a "180-degree seaview room" with balcony for only around Rmb339 (~30 Euro) per night (breakfast included) in July. The room price is definitely low in Sanya. The hotel is a small one, but still consists of a swimming pool, chinese restaurant (western restaurant is not open) and a bar. While the hotel is not well decorated and is not of 4 or 5-star hotel standard, it is clearly a value-for-money one. Unlike the popular Yalong Bay, Sanya Bay is signficantly less crowded. The beach is free. No need to pay! The hotel is located especially in the rural area. It is thus very quiet. However there are some drawbacks. Very few restaurants are within walking distance. Guests can only dine at hotels if ones don't go out. Food is nonetheless reasonable priced relatively in Sanya. Each dish of chinese food costs arond Rmb60. Secondly, I encountered electricity suspension for few hours during my stay. Hopefully, it was an accident only.

  Comfortable Stay but nothing special

  There are some strong points for this resort: 1. They have an incredible swimming pool. It's definitely the highlight of the resort. It's clean, well maintained and big enough not to feel crowded. 2. The beach is across the road. No need for taxis or buses to get to the beach. The rooms are comfortable enough and have a good view of the pool. Cleaning staff are relatively thorough. The breakfast buffet is average. Not appealing for everyone. They could introduce fresher ingredients. I had an issue with the electricity in my room, and the staff spoke very little English so it took some time to get it sorted. Still, a good location. If you want to get a bus or taxi to the city (about 5km away) then the road behind the resort is full of taxis and has a bus stop.

  Vacation in chinese tropical paradise

  Great hotel location with clean picturesque beach area across the road. Cosy hotel with dining room on the first floor with a quite a variety of tasty food. The bathroom has all the necessary stuff: slippers, bathrobe, toothbrush and toothpaste, a comb, shower cap, shower gel, shampoo. Room service was perfect. The only disappointment for us was the absence of refrigerator.Also, there was a teapot with glasses, teacups, teaspoons and 2 black and 2 green tea bags for having tea at the balcony or in bed. There was a little store in the hotel where you could buy snacks, drinks and some other stuff (umbrella, swimming suit etc). Time recommended for safe swimming in the sea 7am-7pm, and the pool was available 6pm-11pm. The bus stop is right near the hotel, so you can easily go sightseeing and shopping downtown. For us as a couple it was perfect hotel: quiet and green, warm sea nearby, not crowded beach and bus stop nearby so we could visit lots of wonderful unique places. The restaurants are situated 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel. So it's great to take a nice walk before and after the meal.
