  Skiing with kids.

  Wonderful nature! In Yasterbets wellness and spa resort you will have everything and more for an amazing ski experience, direct access to a ski slope(red), paired with good facilities and average customer service. We stayed at the villas with our two boys (age 5 and 7) .The resort is kids friendly with indoor pool, kids club and billiard area, ski school and outdoor play area. Where improvement is needed: transfers - we were picked up form the airport in a Mercedes V class, where the driver didn't bother much to help with our luggage, nor opening doors or any assistance at all. As an A class service with a high price, we would've expected a bottle of water or wet towels and warmer welcome. Upon our arrival at the resort, we were welcomed by the front office manager Albena (a lovely lady, who did her best to please us) and showed us their famous restaurant for dinner, where chef Todorov prepares delicious food, only to be put off by a waitress with a bad attitude. Things got better after that, but the first impression remained. The Snow Boutique: offers equipment rental at high standards, which facilitate the skiing experience. I'd like to recommend the local Yastrebets go ride ski school, which made the whole experience memorable for our boys and my husband. I would not recommend the ski instructor named Georgi ( very impersonal and allowing himself things that should never be done with kids on private training), but will recommend Rumi (the lady that trained our little boy) and the rest of the team. All in all the boys improved and felt very happy with their equipment and the slopes (blue and green). SPA: has it all -pool, Sauna, Steam, herbal bath and variety of massage treatments. What needs is much bigger changing rooms, relaxation area and better english speaking therapists. I would expect after the treatment to receive a relaxing cup of tea or water and it was not there. My husband therapist was really unpleasant with no interest of how he would like his massage (strong, medium or light), not offering the choices of oil and not being good at all. Pretty much overall happy, but definitely a room for improvement. We would like to come back next winter and hoping service will be at the level that this place deserve.

  Wouldn't return

  Check in was quick. Beds were so hard not luxury. Stayed in a chalet that was kept spotless clean well done. The shuttle is an absolute joke ! You can only come back on it from 3.15pm! So your left paying stupid prices of 15 levs for a taxi one way ! The spa was not kept keen dead flies under beds were there days before! Plus ants running around the beds. The reception staff women were rude and uninterested to help. We had an issue with key cards reset, didn't work ! Go back new cards will work I'm told no they didn't, back again to then need wait for someone come let us in and took a while to fix it! Not what you need when you bedn out all day. Breakfast was a let down! Under cooked cold food! , cold coffee. Chipped glasses which is a safety hazard I cut my self on. Will I stay again never! Too far out .much nice hotels in the centre and everything there for you

  Ski-to-door nice hotel with very good service

  Excellent hotel on the Yastrebets ski slope with good spa, very good breakfast, beautiful nature and great service. We created a morning check out and after this were invited to use the full spa service up to the evening! We enjoyed our 3 day stay very much!

  The best COVID escape

  Looking for convenient weekend escape, with some friends we decided that Yastrebets was the place to go. We already were familiar with the amenities and the impecable service that the hotel offers. Despite that we have been guests when life was easier, even with the additional COVID safety regulations, the feeling of normality was there. They have managed to blend all safety regulations but keep the hospitality note thus one feels protected, yet "at home". Thanks to all the staff and management for the care and congratulations for the well done job.

  We would like to once again express our gratitude to the entire team of this wonderful hotel. We are with you for the fifth year and once again we had everything that made us feel at home, cozy, with delicious food, with a personal attitude, with cleanliness and respect for the guest. Special thanks to Anita, who with a lot of dedication and heart wants to meet all the requirements of the guests. To the team of the Spa center, perfect cleanliness and professionalism, the products they use are at a very high level. To the front desk, to the bellboy, to the women who took care of the cleanliness and the waiters and the cooks and everyone else I might miss. You have all our respect! Well be with you again next year! Be healthy and still smiling!
