Good command of english. Western style room and in-room spa available. Very special design with separate foot spa. The room and spa have wonderful view to mountain. THe dinner and breakfast was not outstanding, but acceptable

Total Relaxation! We were picked from Kagaonsen Station by the free shuttle and in 20 minutes we were being welcomed in true Japanese fashion to the resort. We booked one of the luxury suites with private spa.It was certainly spacious, clean and very comfortable. Great views and super quiet location. The resort was not too busy so there was always a sense of calm. Breakfast and dinner were enjoyable and the service generally was excellent. Thank you Ola and Kuba!! Considering the size of the suite with full Japanese breakfast and dinner the price was realistic comparing to other luxury hotels.

Couldnt have asked for a better place to stay!We booked a room with a private Onsen at this hotel to celebrate our 33 wedding anniversary. What a fabulous place to stay! Well located but in a quiet area on the river away from most of the other hotels. Staff were fabulous and very friendly! English language staff speakers were there. From the welcome tea and traditional sweets to the greeting in the car park and delicious dinner and breakfast, this hotel did not disappoint! The private Onsen with additional footpath did not disappoint! Huge room! Separate bedroom and sitting room! We were given a special present for our anniversary as well! We will definitely return here! What an amazing hotel in an amazing piece of the country. Thankyou for making our anniversary a very special one!

Family visit in KagaWe were happy with the stay and with the room and staff. As noted by other travelers.. this stay is a little out there.. the town Yamanaka is quaint.. with surprisingly not a lot of places to eat.. and we werent that excited about their breakfast menu. If you after an Onsen experience a bit out there.. its great.. if you are hoping to explore Ishikawa Prefecture than it will add an extra hour drive time to your stay.

Decent enough for 1 night stayWe were warmly welcomed to the hotel and received good service throughout. The room had a lovely view of the river and was very quiet and peaceful. Hot spring was average, but they have an outdoor hot spring which was small but a nice experience. Dinner and breakfast was good, we were very stuffed. Our biggest issue was that the room stunk of cigarette smoke (even though we asked for a non-smoking room) and no air purifier to be seen. It was so bad that the next day after we had checked out and left, our clothes and hair still smelled of smoke. That truly spoiled our stay and we were glad to be out of there after only one night.
