At least it was a bed to sleep in.Good things first, the staff was very pleasant when I checked in and out, and I could keep my bags there till I left Tokyo. Thankfully I had a good bunch of people in the room, so at least it wasn't too noisy at night from inside the room. Bad things: It is very close to the train station, but tucked away in an alley, so the first time I was coming to it I got quite lost trying to find it. In terms of the room: I suppose when you book a 16-person room, it's to be expected, but the beds were very close together. I was on a top bunk and there was not enough head space even to crawl on the bed, which made it pretty uncomfortable. My bed was also very close to the balcony and people were smoking on it, so the smell coming in was not pleasant.

Do not stay hereAs mentioned before, the staff is awesome, we had some issues with our reservations and they gladly fixed it as best as they could for us. The first night we didn't have reservation in the main building so they sent us to their long term facility. We expected it to me better than the main building since staff is supposed to live there. Air conditioning isn't free , 100¥ 90 min .and our sheets had blood on them.We were wrong. Please see for your self. We stayed for one night and the next day we booked a hotel for double the price but quadruple the comfort.

Cramped dormsThe place is very cramped. The dorms are packed with as many bunk beds as possible leaving no available space for guest's luggage which results in climbing over other people's bags to get to the toilet or door.... Good points are convenient location & helpful staff.

Very narrowWe stayed here for a couple of nights. It was okay overall. The cleanliness was quite good. The staff are really good with English so it was easy to communicate with them. The room itself was tiny, though. The space is ridiculously narrow. The 3 of us has to share the room with another traveller, which we know would happen, but there wasn't enough room for our belongings. My friend who was on the top of the bulk bed had to put her 50L hybrid bag on her own bed. Otherwise, we couldn't fit my 10kg bag and another 50L on the floor. But I've heard that's very common in Tokyo. So what else do I expect?

Not Bad!I have stayed in a lot of places, it's not the most flash place in the world but its certerianly okay for the money. It is in a good location (2 min walk from Nakano train station, easy to find with the directions given on the website), helpful and awesome staff who are very friendly and even came out with us and showed us a good time! and comfortable western style beds, (soft). Thank you very much Yadoya! I loved it :)
