  Nice place for a short stay

  We enjoyed our stay. Living room furniture was outdated but the two bedrooms are nice. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the ocean view from bedroom and living room. I didn't to much like the stand only balcony. We will come back.

  Older property

  We were very happy to be on the beach but the property needs work. Wallpaper falling off, rust in areas, ceiling A/c drips creating a puddle of water that is dangerous. It was very noisy on Saturday night after we checked in that day. Cars go up & down the street in front of it. No coffee in room but has coffee maker. No shampoo or conditioner provided. Not sure I would go back...

  Bed Bug!!!

  Bed Bugs!!! In full sized bed and Murphy bed both!! Renee at front desk was rude and would not refund us or switch us to a different room! Having bites all over us we had no choice but to leave our trip early. Also, the room was super tiny and balcony is literally standing room only it is centrally located which made it way too noisy!! We will NEVER EVER stay at the Yachtsman again

  False Advertising!!!

  I was offered the Studio, a 1 bedroom or a 2 bedroom.... I chose the 1 bedroom not wanting the tiny efficiencies listed on The Yachtsman Resort website! WOW!! They put me in the Sloop anyway! Which is their tiniest room they offer, my entire stay I checked their website and all five of their room types were available despite them telling me otherwise and not putting me in a 1 bedroom unit! The Tripbeat rep was rude and not helpful as well as the resort clerk! The rooms there literally have a standing room only balcony and so tiny we felt Claustrophobic in the so called bedroom ... the location made it extremely noisy and we couldnt get any quality rest and left our trip early. I have never been so disappointed in all my vacations as this one! I will NEVER EVER stay at the Yachtsman again or trust Tripbeat to put me in what I select again! Dont ruin your vacation by staying at this dump!!

  Buyer Beware!

  I paid via the phone on February 20, 2021 for a one night stay. On February 21, 2021, I realized I wasn't able to make the trip. I called to canceled. I was informed that I needed to cancel 30 days in advance. Yes.......30.....Days! I was never told by the representative that was the case. I never would have thought anywhere had a 30 Days cancellation policy. I explained to the person on the phone I was not told. She then told me, he should have. She said I could get the night stay if I rescheduled for another day soon. I don't have plans to visit there anytime this year. I asked to speak to the supervisor. She said his name was Josh and he would be in the next day. I could talk to him, but he was going to tell me the same thing. She said it like this has happened before and that was the outcome. I'm trying to get my funds back through my bank. SMH
