  TIP: Do not lose your room cards!

  We booked a very reasonably priced triple room- and liked the room and the area. One issue: I left my room keys in the room upon check out, and left our luggage at reception for a couple hours. Upon our return to claim luggage, the unfriendly receptionist told me that the cleaning crew did not find my room cards. I told her: there is no way the room cards disappeared because we never left the room that day, and plus, we had to use room card to access the room via elevator. I told her I put the room key on the table and she insisted it was not there. The result: we were charged a whopping $30 (NT 1000) for 'lost cards'- which we did NOT lose. It puts such a damper on the whole stay because we chose the hotel due to its low price... So, my tip is simple: make sure you do not LOSE your room cards!

  Great location

  Hotel is conveniently located at ximending night market. Surrounded by lots of eating places and retail. Also very close to train stations for moving around Taipei. Well kept clean rooms although room size is small. Hard to find hotel given poor signages.

  Good location

  Staying here for 5 days in a duluxe triple room and everything is perfect. Location is a thumb up as is very convenient with 7/11, Watson's, family mart around the corner. Although space is a bit small. We can just fit in 3pcs 25" luggage and wouldn't know how if the luggage is bigger that. I can just describe the room with 3 C's - Clean, Comfy and Cozy. Shower was great and the toilet seat is warm especially for winter. Staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok but don't expect much. Rooftop corner is a bonus as u can have freeflow coffee ,tea , snacks at 24hrs to help ourself.

  Lots of food and shopping

  Took us awhile to find the hotel due to poor signage and direction by the hotel. Its actually located in between shops with small entrance to elevator. Check in was smooth. Although the front desk staff (guy) couldnt speak fluent English, he tried his best to answer and accommodate us. Nice room with comfortable bed, cable tv, good wifi signal, clean bathroom with cute bathtub, indoor slipper, tea and coffee mix etc. Small breakfast spread with 2 unfriendly staffs. Nothing fancy just bread egg salad. Left our luggage at the hotel after check out before catching our flight back to hometown. Recommended!!

  New hotel

  The hotel is located very near to popular Ximending "Cinema street" and few walking distance away from popular dishes like Ay Chung flour rice noodles & Mala hotpot. I have no issue walking to the MRT (mainly due to chilling weather). The hotel room is kind of small so your baggage will block the walking path if you don't mind. But hey, you get what you pay for. Overall rating: 7/10. No issue to come back
