RevoltingThis place is in a poor location and was absolutely filthy dirty. The carpets were dirty and covered in cigarette burns and bathroom was awful and stunk of drains. Everywhere stinks of cigarettes and the breakfast was dire. The room had an array of condoms & massage oils for sale so one can only presume they rent out their rooms by the hour. The bed was ridiculously hard but the bedding at least was clean. This hotel doesn't cater for anyone who isn't Chinese and it doesn't care about any of it's guests.

Clean but cold hotelMy room was spotlessly clean, but very cold, as were the common areas. No heating, as it's turned off at the beginning of April, despite an outside temp of 5C with a gale blowing. Good wifi, restaurant next door, staff try hard to speak English and be helpful. Breakfast buffet was adequate with fruit, eggs, and Chinese dishes. Mildly recommended, but not central.

Very poor management and poor service. This property is very poor managed and maintained. I booked two days (Aug 6 to Aug 8, 2019) in this hotel. However, when I and my whole family came to there at 11:30 PM, Aug 6, we were told that our booking was concealed. All of us were very shocked by the news. I asked them who concealed the reservation and why, they said they had no idea. I said it is very difficult to find a space to live and asked them to give us some a room to stay or refer us to other hotels, to my surprise, they coldly denied. When I asked how should ue do in such situation, I was told I can call other hotel myself even they knew my phone did not work in China. After discussed with them for half hour, they finally "found" two rooms and gave us "special price. Then they firmly asked us must leave their hotel next day. What a poor management they have. Besides the terrible management the room is not clean and come with strange smell. the attitude of staff is cold, unfriendly and arrogant for no reason. I strongly DO NOT recommend this hotel to any person!

Not as the pictures would have you believeOn the booking site it says 4 star but on the wall in reception it says 3. Even so I would say it is equivalent to a Travelodge. When we first arrived the first problem was the lack of English spoken here even though it said the staff did so. The room we were given was on floor 2, as we walked down the corridor it was so smoky and claustrophobic, many of the the Chinese guests had their doors open, and were smoking in the rooms, even though it said no smoking. The carpet was very badly stained and felt really dirty. We asked to change and was given a room on floor 9. This was smaller than the first one but smelt better but still had quite a few stains on the carpet. The lighting was poor as there are only low side lights which don't give adequate lighting especially if you want to read. Also the breakfast was interesting as a western visitor, no consideration given to anybody other than Chinese, you have to sit on large round tables with the other guests, all I can say the noise was horrendous from the diners eating or should I say slurping the noodles. Not what we want to hear or witness at the breakfast table. The pictures on the booking site are not quite the reality when you get here, maybe they were taken a number of years ago. We definately felt like outsiders here. We would have liked to book extra excursions at the reception but this was so difficult, not sure if it was the language difference or that they didn't offer any type of service. The impression that I got was that it was a B & B for local workers that used it just for somewhere to sleep. Not really a tourist hotel.
