  Beautiful place

  Have stayed in hotel Theoxenia for 1 week and have had an amazing stay. Perfect for enjoying the sun , swimming and sandy beaches. The staff here are amazing and will go out of their way to do whatever they can to help you. I would recommend anybody to visit Ouranoupolis and to stay at this hotel. I would like to thank Arsen, Gersi , Tony and George as my stay would not have been the same without them.

  Slightly disappointed

  Hotel in my opinion does not deserve 4 stars, maybe 2.5 to 3. The furniture is old and worn out.The television is from the last century and has only (4) analogue programs, of which 2 (Russian) are snow-covered, one Greek is as good and Euronews (?).The rooms do not have WiFi (room 163), but there is a reception, a restaurant (and the beach, which is commendable). There is no hairdryer (you have to borrow at the front desk separately), no shampoo, just liquid (universal) soap. I recommend the hotel for seniors and families with young children because there is no fun. Maybe its in season? Ouranoupoli is nearby (3 km), but if you are without transport it is a bit far to go on foot. All the credit goes to the staff who are very friendly and willing to help. The food is perfectly prepared, but sometimes the cooks add some specific-homemade spice that does not suit some. I hope they will quickly restore the equipment in the rooms as this would raise their rating higher. The beach is wonderful with lots of fun (water sports). Beach equipment, however, needs repair (maybe because it was already the end of the season?). A relatively inexpensive hotel for undemanding guests. We were there for 1 week from September 21st to September 28th.

  Disappointing

  This hotel is definitely not 4*. Everything is old and tired and in need of refurbishment. Excellent location for beach only but there is no path to walk into town which is 3 km away along a fast country road, so not safe to walk. You are completely stuck in the middle of nowhere. All inclusive drinks limited to beer, wine, ouzo and brandy. No slimline/ diet mixers available. You have to pay for very limited selection of cocktails. Food is recycled but ok, but at best only ever lukewarm. No entertainment whatsoever. Its been a long week...

  the hotel was horrible,it was old,smelly,dirty,there was flys everywhere,the bed had dirty sheets and gave us bruising,and there was no entertainment and nothing to do at all it was so boring,the food was ok,we was ment to stay for 7 nights but it was that terrible we came home on the 3rd day,it was a nightmare holiday,there is nowhere in reach that you can walk to and taxis and transfers cost so much money and as for there driving well.never again and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone it was a very expensive holiday and the worst one ever

  Low budget / boring / limited

  Firstly rooms old and need updating No shower fixed to walls have to hold it hotel staff says thats it We found a hair band and used that to attach the shower to the hook No plugs so u cant have a bath either No shops at walking distance have to take a taxi at 6euros Shops not great Food in hotel barely warm and drinks only include beer brandy wine or soft drinks Rest has to be paid for No diet drinks so no good if diabetic Very limited on what to do other than pool or beach which is fine if its dry and sunny We here in October and never again !! Not worth the money we paid but wanted a alternative as we lost our original holiday to turkey with Thomas cook The transfer is over a hour and half and is awful bendy roads so take a travel pill Nothing is open in October so dont bother to come here then Its a long week and we still here Shame its our first ever trip to Greece but now put us off and wont return We did have a lovely view from balcony of sea and pools Im sure it would be fine in summer if u like to just sit round pool and go now where but not for us again Think hard when booking as it really is remote We will be sticking to turkey
