  ''Xemoni'' provides genuine hospitality of Mani, to travelers who know how to appreciate it.

  The hotel, built of carved stone, is situated on a hillside of the famous Taigetos. Its architecture combines warmth and functionality. Rooms are large, and their view is unique. In front, you see the bay of tilos, and you imagine pirates to be ravaged. On the side and back, you gaze at the toy bone hills of Mount Taygetos and the day-long fighters of the Greek rebellion against the Ottomans. This accommodation is the epitome of simplicity and natural beauty. It is a family business that honors customers and endeavors to delight them to enjoy the east Mani.

  Exceeded our expectations

  The hotel is located in a quiet spot with fantastic view, we felt really lucky to have found it available online. Breakfast was spectacular, so was dinner, which we were pre-ordering to have it ready at a certain time in the evening. Fantastic beaches were a short drive (5mins) away. We will visit again.

  Great choice

  Charming family hotel, situated outside the traditional village of Oitylo. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and had traditional stone walls. The bathroom was big and spotless. Breakfast had a large variety of homemade local products (pies, sweets, jams, omelets etc.). As for the owners, they were very friendly and eager to give us directions and tips for the region. All in all, a great choice. P.S. The only inconvenience was that breakfast wasnt served until 9:00 am, which is quite late. If you want to explore the region, you cant start your day at 10:00 am! They really should reconsider their policy regarding the time at which breakfast is served.

  Great place to different types of travelers!

  Beautiful hotel, built on stone, is located on a hillside, overlooking the Oitylo bay (very nice view!) and close to Oitylo village. First time there at the end of June 2019 for OCEANMAN swimming race. I will be there again in 2020, for the same swimming contest! The owners, especially their son, Mr. Dimitrios (aka Small Boss :), ask about him!) were very friendly and eager to give me directions, recommendation and tips for the region. Strongly recommendation to have dinner at the hotel, the food is very good, just a few dishes (with some hand-made ingredients) and it is cheaper than at the local taverns.

  Beatiful view, but definitely not a 4-star hotel

  Below average, and definitely not a 4-star hotel as advertised. If you book a room with sea view you will definitely enjoy the view. The rooms are spacious, and the exterior space is nice. However, the breakfast is mediocre, to say the least, and the service you get is not even close to a 4-star hotel. We had issues with electricity, caused by a local fire, for at least 3 days. Electricity coming and going, resulting even in not having water for some time as the water pumps were off. A fire is of course out of control, but what I don't really get is how a 4-star hotel does not have a power generator. Also nothing was offered to compensate for the inconvenience caused. The rooms (as we changed room due to a door lock issues) both had several other minor issues including the main door lock not working properly (the first room way worse than the second), broken bath tab doors, toilet seats sliding, etc. All caused clearly because of the lack of regular and proper maintenance. All in all, it is definitely not value for money, as it is a quite expensive hotel.
