  Great place

  Beautiful place big and amazing place to spend time with family. Has a lot of features and with COVID-19 they are taking excellent precautions. Will definitely come back and if you have kids its a great place to bring them.

  great location

  We went in the winter but I would think in the Spring and Summer it would be a great place to go to...they had a pool and other fun things that would appeal to a family. Williamsburg was a great place to visit.

  Our return visit, this time during COVID

  Overall, my review pretty much stands the same as when I stayed in 2019. There were certainly differences, being that this time was during COVID. The pool had to be reserved in advance; we were not able to get the time slot we desired twice, but otherwise it was fine. I don't know what the number limit was for the pool, but it was plenty of room per family. The best part was that the water was plenty WARM for December. Check in was alright. There was the usual run around of "your room is not ready Sir..." even though it was past check-in time. I always expect that nonsense at a time-share resort. But, they "manage to find" me a room after a stop off at the "concierge". Thankfully, the lady said that there was no time-share presentation due to COVID. She actually apologized in case I was hoping for their discounted tickets and such (I was laughing to myself inside-NO WAY would I do a time-share presentation, ever). Our room was fine. We found it just as expected- clean enough and supplied enough. The building had a strange smell permeating the foyer. We described it as smelling like Ramen noodles 24 hrs a day. I joked that they should name building 23 the Ramen Building. The crowd was light; I had ZERO issues of guests being loud or unruly, and this was during New Year's Eve. I used reward points to lower my rate and so the room price was excellent. I don't care for the points-per-night rate of 6000 per, but what can you do? Anyway- I'd definitely stay here again. I wish the arcade was open cause it's a good one!

  Quiet, Peaceful Winter Getaway

  The peace and quiet was everything and the evenings on the balcony were to die for. Fully equipped kitchens. Stock your fridges & cabinets, you won't have to go out for dining if you choose not to. That was our plan all along. Oh, least I forget, you control your own heat, BAM!! ENJOY.

  Felt Racially Profiled

  Check in was like trying to get through the timeshare area at the Cancun airport. After check in, I was told by Kim that I needed to see her about getting my wristbands. I refused the wristbands because I had the regular key cards. She said that the guard sometimes stop guests walking around the resort and they would need to see the wristband. Ive been to the resort many times and have never been stopped. I refused the owner update and let her know that I attended a zoom meeting in the summer regarding the new Tiers. She told me that things changed within the last 2 weeks. She told me that she had to come to my car to make sure that the people that I had listed in my room was actually with me. I assumed that this was one of the new changes that took place within the last 2 weeks. While at my vehicle she started telling us all the new fees that were implemented; which made us very upset, so we agreed to the owner update. After she left our vehicle we realized that no other reps were walking to cars to verify the people in other vehicles. I felt racially profiled because of my ethnicity. If I were white would Kim have had to verify the people with me or insist that I get the wristbands to walk around the resort? We have been members for 23 years and have never felt this disrespected! Later in the week Kim called to confirm that we were still coming; I let her know that we changed our mind and would not be attending. Again she perpetuated lies about our benefits. I let her know that I reviewed the information on the website and we would not be attending. Afterwards, I received an email cancelling my tour. The terms and conditions stated.You (and spouse, if married or partner if cohabiting) must attend a timeshare sales presentation. This confirmed that Kim misrepresented what the meeting was about. Could not get a call back from Wyndham!
