  Great spot in Princeville

  Great property with spectacular Pacific Ocean views positioned to optimize cool afternoon trade winds- a piece of paradise on the North Shore of Kauai! Spacious two bedroom offered large communal areas throughout!

  Great stay at Shearwater!

  Our stay was excellent, the only issues we had did not overly affect our stay at this beautiful condo. The unit was nice, the view amazing and we would definitely stay again. The issue: we gave 4/5 on service because of the following issue. We had trouble with our microwave working properly and couldnt find anyone to help with it, the clubhouse/ concierge area was being renovated, as a result we couldnt find any staff onsite. We opted to focus on enjoying our stay and heading to the beach instead of stopping at Ka Eo Kai to report it in person. We did try calling about it and couldnt get anyone on the phone. We dealt with James at the concierge desk when we checked in and he was great! Thank you James. Other than the microwave issue our stay was fabulous.

  Definitely worth the trip.

  Large 2 bedroom, two bathroom unit on the 3rd floor. Unit #312 gave us views of both the ocean and the golf course, with large windows and soaring ceilings made the unit seem even bigger. You could see both sunrise and sunsets. Gorgeous. Not much in the way of grounds, and the pool area is very small. Clubhouse being renovated so no amenities, but you could use the facilities at the other two sister locations just down the street. I think Shearwater is the smallest of the three Wyndham properties, we visited the other two and were more impressed with the facilities - don't know about the units. Calls to maintenance for a pitcher, and dishwasher detergent were answered within an hour. Also on our last day the smoke alarm battery in the 2nd bedroom near the ceiling started beeping at 5 am, luckily the 2nd couple had already left, but it did wake us. Maintenance came by quickly to silence it. This unit only had one lanai, but it had the table w/4 chairs and two chaises. No towel service, each bathroom had three sets, for some reason I thought they came through on Wednesday, and I don't know if we could call for more, so that is on me. Parking was tight but there were plenty of spaces. Skip the "Parking Pass" pitch, don't know what they were selling but we said no. Didn't see many cars with the pass hanging anyway. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

  Lovely location

  Shearwater was spacious and the views were great. And being a Wyndham timeshare, it's always in good working order- clean and efficient. I love the Princeville area as well. Shearwater is a very small location with very few units. The only downside is parking. It's very very tight.

  Great location

  We enjoyed Shearwater a lot. It was quiet, a very small location in terms of number of units, overlooking the water. It's not air conditioned but we didn't need it at all. Lots of air. The unit was large. The only real downside was that there is little parking and it is very very tight- almost impossible to maneuver in some places.
