  Great service and comfortable bed

  I was here on business. Pool and spa was nice and clean and had a great swim every day I was here. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Food at their restaurant was tasty. Had the breakfast there every day and it was a descent variety. I had a friend who had the pasta dinner and also loved it. I mention this because he enjoyed it. I came in late one evening and he was sitting and eating dinner and we were discussing the menu, the bar and food. He gave me a little taste of the pasta dish and he was right. It was delicious. I don't drink so I don't know about the bar but I heard a lot of laughs coming from there and that is a good sign. Upon check in Jewels did a great job. My room was not ready, and she did promise I will get a call once it is cleaned and ready. I did get the call. It was about an hour wait but I just went around town traveling and checking out the area so I did not mind. Nancy in the morning buffet was super sweet. Very good sense of humor and excellent service. I ate fast because I had my business appointment early and she was sensitive to that and made sure I had all I needed so I will not be late. I was not late. She made my morning. Overall, I would come back. Everyone was super nice and smiling and the room was very comfortable. Towels and shower was clean and bed was clean. The hotel floors could use new carpeting but my stay was great and that did not affect anything.

  Housekeeping sucked

  I stayed here for a week; the check in was amazing and the front desk staff was top notch.. however the room was garbage.. the water didnt drain and my room gradually stopped getting cleaned to the point where my dirty coffee cup was never replaced and my bed was barely made. I wouldnt stay here again but to be clear, the check-in staff was top notch!

  Somewhat disappointing

  The hotel was more rough around the edges than expected for a Crowne Plaza. The good news was a pretty professional front desk staff most of the time, a comfortable bed in a large room, and the convenient location. Disappointing news: badly stained bed linens, curtains that don't block the glaring outside lights at night, burned out bulb in bathroom, empty hand sanitizer for 4 days despite 3 requests to refill it, 50% of staff not wearing masks & 90% of guests not wearing masks or social distancing despite CA law during pandemic, multiple police visits to hotel during a 2-week stay, and the worst selection of TV channels ever (ridiculous for this price range). Lots of room for improvement to meet expectations!

  The Worst in somany ways!

  I intended to stay here for 2 full days, relaxing away from my home's remodel. OMG. Room 217 has torn dirty carpet; something weird smeared on a wall; a refrigerator that is a freezer with inches of ice, freezes everything in it ( juice, milk, oranges); coffee maker does not work, they bought a different one with little cups producing barely brown coffee; the bathroom sink LEAKS around the drain, water all down through cabinets and onto floor. Then. A LOUD buzz buzz buzz all through the building for 15 minutes! I as a wreck by then, shouted into the hall STOP STOP! and it did. I intend to demand a full refund. I took lots of pictures.

  Caution! Bad Management and Zero Security

  Few positives - Their front desk (not Managers) and decent beds, flexible with early check-in and late check-out Negatives - No reliable night security, lots of Sac PD visits due to gang activity, Zero safety for your personal items including car parking, main cameras don't work, Unsecured WIFI and Privacy concerns, tweakers in the parking lot, carpet stains, bad plumbing, unproffesional manager.
