    El Park Lane Jakarta es un hotel viejo con poco mantenimiento. Asusta la requisa por seguridad no solo a los carros (que veo normal) sino a los huespedes cada vez que entramos. La atencion es buena y los desayunos abundantes. Como llegamos al amanecer nos toco llamar con campanilla para hacer el check in

    Great breakfast options and excellent service! Please add more international & kids tv channels so all guests with family can enjoy, but overall was great. Keep up the good work and were looking forward see you again :)

    Great Service

    I stayed here on Nov 25-26 2020, Even though I was check in late, the reception was friendly to welcome me, he gave the room as I requested to Ms. Nadia and siska by call both of them were excellent for follow up my requests. And I got a slice of cake and birthday wishes card it makes me feel excited on my birthday then when I checked out the reception was good. Wyndham casablanca is good for service, it has nice room and all staff are friendly and the hotel is close to the mall.

    Some staffs need to have better attitude

    Just came back a few days ago after staying for 2 nights. Yes, the hotel industry also take a serious hit due to the pandemic hence we see less staffs, a bit downgrade on the facility, like theres parts in swimming pool area that are a mess, and a bit dirty, we overlooked that. the room is huge and spacious, we have a grand king deluxe non smoking rooms with interconnecting doors side by side which is perfect for a family of four. the bathtubs are big and the water is clean and warm. The water pressure is enough, the room is cold enough and the TV selection, wifi is all suffice. The bell boy is fine he helps us with luggage and give us a detailed information that they already disinfect our room upon entering, when he saw me spraying some disinfectant. the receptionist (male, perhaps above 45 years old) have a bit cough when we are checking in hence I keeping a distance, I think he is aware of that and giving me a gesture to be served by his colleague, a female who is serving other people. I wait around 3 minutes and then its our turn. the checking in was a breeze and I do feel like the staff could be a bit friendlier, she was a bit tight, perhaps due to the mask, well, maybe. But its still okay. We love the room, the space, the cupboards and all the space to put our stuffs, the ironing board and iron, safe deposit, towels, but one of the fridge in room 811 smells really bad, like one of the fuse has gone terribly wrong, we kept smelling smoke when we open the fridge, we forgot to tell the staffs about that since we just use the fridge next room. in the afternoon we decided to swim and after arriving at the pool we were told that the towels are at the receptionist, so we get back to the receptionist and ask for some, the lady (receptionist) told us that they run out of clean ones and a staff will deliver some towels for us at the pool. I even asked again just to confirmed what I heard and she said yes. we swam for more than an hour, keep an eye looking for a staff carrying towels and theres none. after a good 90 minutes we have to walk to the receptionist and get our towels, and yes we are very much wet. the next day. The breakfast on the 24th of Dec is minimum, since theres not much people, perhaps just 3 other couple/family aside from us and almost every food had to be served by the staffs so it stays hygienic. So we have to wait for a staff, now this is where the problem happens, one of the female staff in dark blue color (around shoulder length hair) help me at first at getting the crab stick fried rice, i go back to the table to give the food to the kids and then after a while, i went back to that fried rice/waffle/etc station (which is where all the main dish are), and this time the chef is busy in with the eggs and the same staff who served me before (the lady with a shoulder length untied hair) arrived, so I called her, she ignore me, the distance is like 3-4 feet away, perhaps is due to the mask. I called her louder and other staffs around her even heard me and she still ignored me. I called her mbak which is a term for female in Indonesia and she is the only female in that space at that time, she didnt bother to look, so theres another chef just came from perhaps the kitchen who is for sure further away from her also heard me calling her and went to me immediately to served me. I dont know what her problem, if thats not her job or she want someone else to do it, she couldve told me so, instead of putting me off like that. in the afternoon, we ask for some ice by the phone since some sodas are provided in the room, we waited for hours and until today, we never received those ice. we never knew what happen. the check out is a breeze on the next day and since the hotel become a bit more crowded we decided to go back home and not extending. we did get a late check out 1 hour later, again the bell boy is helpful with the stuffs and everything. so I do met some staffs that are suitable for their job and some people are not quite happy being in the service industry.

    Quarantine review

    Was pleased to find I could quarantine at the Wyndham. The rooms are a great size and the food with the full board package has been of a good quality. I did order some room service too but out of boredom more than hunger but it was also good fresh and delivered in reasonable time. Riva is a favourite restaurant of mine anyway. I've been a regular guest at Wyndham, and a customer of the restaurant over the last couple of years. So by far the best quarantine place in Jakarta for me as it's been like a second home. Don't get me wrong I still want to leave but it could be worse. The manager of the hotel, Paolo who I am proud to call a friend, has trained the staff to perfection. Just the right balance of friendly and professional which is my preferred standard in hospitality and is too often overlooked in 5 star hotels. It's really helped when stuck in a room solo. Nobody likes being stuck in a room for 5 days, not alone anyway, but if you have to be stuck anywhere I could recommend Wyndham.
