  Good stay despite obvious circumstances

  Stayed 2 nights in group of 20 golfers, very helpful reception staff. Informed it was the first weekend of the restaurant opening and despite the teething problems, the first night service was great, as was the standard of food. Breakfast service, standard of food on both days was excellent and the staff were welcoming and cheerful. Service on the Saturday night was non existent and I put that down to the way the floor staff were being supervised. It took 3 hours from sitting down to completing our meal, that aside the staff member DION looking after our party went above and beyond to look after us. Taking away the service on the Saturday, our stay was pleasant, the floor staff were cheerful and helpful, the golf facilities and course are excellent.

  Golf Course

  An amazing Golf Course will beautiful scenery. The Greens aren't to fast and therefore cut to perfection. The state of the course is exemplary and other courses i have played at need to take notes. Best Golf course in Cheshire!!

  Golf trip

  We had 12 stay one night at Wychwood,playing golf on the day of arrival and the following day. We were well looked after by the golf team and the hotel. Good facilities,nice rooms generally very good stay. One small complaint the food portions at dinner were very small.the course was in excellent condition and its a tough golf course. Thanks for looking after us all at wychwood and suggest increasing the portions for dinner!!!

  Weekend Away

  Just returned from a two night stay at this lovely hotel Food was very good Staff were very friendly and efficient Great value for money Would love to return Easy access to Chester - Hop on Hop off bus tour was enjoyable

  Not a hotel for a solo traveler

  The reception staff were very helpful but cannot day the same for bar and restaurant staff. Service was polite but with no feeling I did not feel particularly welcome or special. There was no bar meal service which was not mentioned on the website. The restaurant fitted me in. The menu was uninspiring and not what I would have expected from a 4 star hotel . I will not be returning very disappointed .
