  Good for body and soul

  On entering the Pause Landis, we immediately felt great. The spacious lobby with its subtle scent made us feel calmer and more relaxed. Staff at reception were friendly and professional, although their English was a bit limited, hoewever, we managed to get everything sorted. The public onsen (I'm just talking about the male space) is guaranteed to make you feel relaxed and your body starts generating endorphines. We used the spa every day and are still reaping the benefits a week later. The room was good, although some of the furniture could do with a bit of sprucing up. Breakfast was tasty, but could do with a bit more variety. We also used the restaurant for one evening meal and thoroughly enjoyed it, At approximately 15 Euro for a six course meal, it certainly provided excellent value for money- Despite the liitle hiccups, I am happy to give it five points due to the positive after effects the stay has had on us.

  Super value for hot spring & lunch combo

  Only 47 CAD for one & half hour hot spring in Private onsen plus 4 course meal. This is a real bargain! Take the MTR green line to Xindian Station then bus 849 stop at the entrance of Pause Landis Wulai. The beautiful scenery to Wulai is spectacular but quite bumpy. The water of Wulai hot spring is odorless. You have to experience this in order to feel the benefits to your body!!

  Even if you don't stay at the hotel it is a beautiful hot spring with an optional lunch set attached.

  This is a beautifully designed contemporary hot spring spa with individual rooms for couples in addition to common rooms for men and women. The spa sits in a deep valley and the rooms are open to the opposite hillside which makes for a beautiful opportunity to enjoy the forest on the other side and the river flowing in front of the building. There are 42º and 38º pools in addition to cooler pools, a sauna, lounge chairs. We spent almost two hours there and had a great experience. Our experience began with a a beautifully made lunch in the restaurant attached to the spa. The service was prompt and friendly and the cost was about $35. It was a beautiful way to follow up a hike to one of the waterfalls in the area.

  An normal hotel

  This trip is with my ex collègue, we dont know why this hotel is good for hard ware, but so bad in details. The window is big, but not clean. The towels are clean but there is no place to hang. Its a very strange hotel.

  Terrible room, terrible food, terrible front desk, terrible toilets. Just terrible.

  Room has no hooks to hang your wet towels. Bed has an odour. Breakfast is crap except for the porridge, I dont know what jack I'm eating. The front desk ladies have very poor experience, takes a billion years per guest and they did not follow the queue to serve guests. Toilet sink has a beautiful design but does not work nor have Basic handwash soap. One of the wooorrrrssssttttt places I have ever visited in Taiwan. Close it down really.
