  awesome stay

  Hotel located 5 mins walk to the beach and next door to the Institute of Oceanology Chinese Academy of science. the bus station down the road allows you to get easily around town. Very welcoming staff, great breakfast buffet with good coffee and decent chinese restaurant on the 3rd floor. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, with a welcoming bowl of fresh fruit each day and bottles of water.

  Brilliant

  I stayed at the Wu Sheng Guan Holiday hotel, for a quiet and relaxing weekend. This is my second stay at the "Wush" and I'm sure it won't be my last, the first time two years ago was very good. Second time round was excellent, more staff on reception spoke English, all staff were very polite and helpful. The room I had 2 years ago was very comfortable and clean, the room I had this time was even more comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was buffet style and plentyful you could either have a healthy breakfast or an unhealthy breakfast, they were also willing to cook egg and bacon while you waitied, Coffee was just as nice. All in all the service I received was second to none. I will definitely go back a third time.

  Perfect stay

  I stayed her for 4 days. I booked the family room. The whole family was so satisfied with the place as it is huge and very comfortable. The hotel provide us with a quiet room so that we can get the rest we need. The staff are friendly and provide a lot of advice on how to get to certain tourist spot. The hotel even have a booklet that give you a guide on the public bus to take and if taxi was is the average cost so that you will not get lost and cheated. Fruits and coffee are provided everyday. It is walking distance to the 1st beach, the old town of qingdao, badaguan and 20 mins bus ride to the seafood street and the beer factory.

  Good breakfast but hardest bed ever!

  This is a good hotel. Clean, good breakfast and great staff. The restaurant on the third floor for dinner was not good. I don't eat intestines, feet or cow lips (yes cow lips), so it was hard to find something to eat. Even when I did, the flavour was not good. The bed was the hardest bed I have ever been on in my life. Sleeping on the floor would have been softer. The gym is terrible. The treadmills don't work and there is 1 weight lifting system to use. No pool. Apart from those 3 things it was an enjoyable, quiet stay.

  Could be better

  I originally booked 2 nights in this hotel, during the first night, I decided to check out a day early. This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this hotel, and now it is the last time. Since I stayed 3 years ago it has gone down hill in the terms of service, and in their room and the free WIFI. The service on the front desk was slow, and they made me feel unwelcome. The room was clean to a standard but not 4 star hotel standard. The WIFI this time was appalling, it was so slow, my emails even times out before I got connected, actually everything times out I couldn't do anything at all. Also I agree with the other reader the shower Gel and Shampoo have no labels so you have to work out which is which. , I was waiting for the lift and so was a member of staff when one lift came she actually stopped me from getting in the lift and told me to wait for the next, that was extremely rude. Tat is the sort of service the Wu Sheng Guan Hotel is providing now, a rude unhelpful service.
