  Respite under Majestic Ponderosa Pines!!!

  We are WorldMark owners and have been coming to this amazingly beautiful facility for many years. We're actually staying here now and couldn't be happier with our accommodations, the view from our lodgings, well - just everything is perfect. Fireplace in the living room offers a cozy extra touch on the cool evenings and mornings. The kitchen looks remodeled and everything is in working order. The BED was fantastic for sleeping and this is our most important feature as getting a good night's rest in paramount for my husband and I. Needless to say, WorldMark at Pinetop is one of our very favorite places to visit. We usually stay on the second floor but this time we tried staying on the first floor for my husband's convenience. We like it especially when looking out our living and dining room windows, it makes us feel we're the only people at the resort feasting our eyes on the majestic fall colors and ponderosa pines. This place is a win-win for us every time we stay. THANK YOU WorldMark for keeping this particular property in such excellent condition! We're looking forward to returning in November!

  Nice facility in a lovely location

  My wife and I spent a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything in our unit was clean and functional. Check-in and check-out were easy. The only misstep was not being given the password for free internet when I checked in. Mercifully, there was no offer, much less pressure, to buy timeshare points.

  Family get away weekend

  Our family of 4 took Rodeo weekend out of Tucson and into the pines. It was gorgeous. From the friendly and incredibly helpful staff to the beautiful grounds we loved the trip. Amenities abound- free equipment for outdoor games (volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, boccie, basketball, tennis), free equipment for indoor rec room (ping pong, shuffleboard), free business center access, free arts/crafts and puzzles. Arcades, pool, and air hockey for quarters in the rec room. On top of all that our one bedroom on the second floor was quiet and gorgeous- porch looked into the serenity of the woods and we even got to enjoy the snow before we left. Murphy bed was very comfortable for the kids, bedroom was large and 2 access doors to the bathroom (with sectioned off shower/toilet) allowed for easy use by more than one person at a time- and the bedroom door could still be closed for privacy all around. In room washer, dryer, and dishwasher were great. Staff was more than happy to keep giving us soap! Nearby hikes (Woodland Lake park path around the lake was great, numerous hikes off the parking lot- will check them out next time-, a walk through the Mogollon Rim trail had nice sights and information plaques along the way). We went to Darbi's restaurant just down the road (delicious and you get a discount for staying at WorldMark) but the full kitchen amenities meant we did a lot of eating in and relaxing. We'll be going back!

  Huge Disappointment on Wedding weekend

  My husband and I booked a room at the WorldMark Pinetop for our pastor and his family for our wedding. On the morning of check in, I received an email stating that they had overbooked the hotel and that our reservation would be cancelled. On top of the rest of the wedding stress we were dealing with, this was absolutely devastating. We ended up speaking to someone who told us they could book us a room at their sister hotel that was over an hour and a half away or we could cancel and wait for a refund. We ended up cancelling and booking at a hotel in town, but as someone who worked at a Four Diamond Resort for years I felt that a hotel associated with the Wyndam name would have handled the situation in a better way. Perhaps offering to pay and book for a hotel in town or offering a future stay. Unfortunately, this has left such a bad taste in our mouths that we most likely won't choose to stay at a Wyndam, or especially this hotel in the future.

  Smokers love this place

  We stayed above a couple who smoked. Because you must sleep with your window open at night, our room was smoke filled. If A/C was provided this would help solve the problem and the designated smoking areas are not used.
