  Thin walls in a box

  Booked this place as the previous hostel I stayed the 1st night had a loud n old air cond in the room plus being far from MRT station. Saw this which is in the same area n being 500m from MRT Red line 101 station. Stayed for 2 nights. No complains abt staff. Single rooms r tiny boxes with upper or lower deck beds. Stayed at room 212 which is the row (208, 210, 212 n 214) where the female bathrooms r right behind the wall, once any1 turns on the pipe or shower head, it is so loud coz the water pressure is strong. It sounds like as if u r in the same bathroom n basically for a light sleeper like me, I got up everytime any1 is in the showers. Explained to the staff on day 2 but still unable to change room to the opposite row eventhough i saw the rooms were checked out b4 new guests were to check in later that day. Wish I knew how to book the quieter opposite row. Any guest walking pass in the corridor is noticeable n this morning since 5am ppl r pulling their heavy luggages out the room to check out. No food n drinks allowed in the room so the common space/kitchen on 2nd n 3rd floor r good but most guests avoid even eye contact when I smiled to them except for a guy from UK n another fron Aussie which we had brief frendly chats. I will not stay here again n recommend to those who only want budget stay in 101 area n nothing more.

  Great Location, Cheap, High Tech

  I had a business meeting in TICC, which is just 350 meters from this hotel. The best place for someone in a tight budget and need to be next door to TICC or Taipei 101. Next to seven eleven, you can use the kitchen for free, the have refrigerators to put your groceries in. The shower was great, the free wifi speed was really quick, the speedtest was like 80Mbps bandwidth or so.. awesome They have a headphone plug for your tv. 100+ channel, mostly in chinese unfortunately. Things that I don't really like, the room is soo small, but if you really use the room for sleep, it will do the trick.

  Convenient location and worth the money

  Stayed for 5 nights total and can't really fault the place. Was lucky to have a room away from the hustle and bustle of the common areas but most single rooms seemed to back onto the bathrooms, which I imagine would be very noisy when people are showering. Location very close to the subway and Taipei 101, lots of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Cheap and worthwhile.

  Disappointing and lacklustre amidst Taipei's incredible hostels

  - Was told upon checkin that there was no TV as cable service was being upgraded. Also no compensation. - Floor literally had grime in between tiles. Disgusting. - Toilet was so poorly ventilated that there was black mould on the vents themselves. Checked out within a few hours. Horrible experience.

  Cheap. Easy and fast

  You Get what You pay for. Snall box dormitory with Shared shower and toilet. This is how cheap as it gets and its ok. Just ok. Can even wash your clothes. The best part of the hotel is location. Its easy accessible with bus and metro.
