What a GemMy wife and I stayed a night at Woodland Farmhouse Inn on August 27th. Sheri is a very gracious host. Upon arrival she met us and gave us a tour of the property and the house. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Very relaxing to walk the property and see her animals. She does have a "Guard" Turkey. He will come to the fence and strut back and forth to show he is boss. Had an excellent breakfast before hitting the road. Will come back when we visit again.

Rustic Perfection Away from it allMy husband surprised me with a quick overnight get away, and he found THIS GEM! If you are looking for a place that helps you relax and get away from the hustle and bustle, this little place is AWESOME! Sheri, the host and owner, was extremely accommodating. Everything was clean and tighty and very comfortable. While breakfast was included for our room, we chose to head a few doors down to a local favorite - the Biscuit CO. I'm a farm girl and a down home kind of gal and this place was perfect! The views are amazing. The only thing I would state is that if this site shows that she is full for your dates needed, call her directly. We found that she has room and that this site didn't show that. We will definitely be staying here again and again. I almost don't want to share because I want to keep it a hidden gem.

This is what you expect a B&B to beI stayed in the Farmhouse itself, although there are other accomodations. The farmhouse is not new (120 years old), but was neat place to stay. The morning views of the countryside were breathtaking. Sheri is a gracious host, and prepares wonderful breakfasts in the morning of the simpler sort that I prefer. The Farmhouse is convenient to skiiing nearby at Sundance, Deer Valley and Park City resort. A minor maintenance issue (dead light buld) was quickly resolved. Great place to stay.

Rare GemWe travel a lot and like to stay in places other than chain motels on each trip. For two nights in mid-September, we were in the old post office suite at the farmhouse. The house has so much interesting history; be sure to read the information that the innkeeper has written. Everywhere you look in the house, there are unique furnishings, all perfect for their setting! Our suite had two bedrooms with TVs in both. One room had a four-poster bed that was high off the floor. Had it not been for the little footstool provided, it would have been difficult for me to climb into it, but this was just part of the experience and the fun of the place!! The bathroom was very large with excellent lighting. There was even a light over the shower! The sink didnt have counter space for personal toiletries, but there were nearby shelves to use. White, fluffy terrycloth robes were provided for guests. I really appreciated their warmth on the chilly mornings since I had only packed a light-weight summer robe. Thanks to the innkeeper for this bonus amenity! Breakfast is usually served @8am, but on our first morning, because another guest had an early business appointment, we ate at 7:30. We had no problem with the earlier time. Spinach/cheese omelets, hash-browns, toast, bacon, juice, and coffee fortified us for a day of hiking. The next morning, we had breakfast burritostasty and filling! When our hostess was finished preparing and serving the delicious meals, she visited with us, and we learned more about the area from her. She was friendly, kind, easy-going, and very hospitable. My favorite thing about the farmhouse was the array of animals roaming in the pasture just behind the house. What fun to walk down and see three personable goats, one large pig, chickens, turkeys, dogs, and cats! Every critter looked healthy and happy, and I was delighted to spend some time with them! This area of Utah, although not very far from Salt Lake City, seems remote and isolated(which we didnt mind at all!!!), but if youre ever nearby, we recommend that you consider staying at the farmhouse. You wont be disappointed!

Spacious and ComfortableWe visited some family/friends in Victory Ranch recently and, because we had pets, we needed to find lodging that would allow pets. There are not a lot of options for lodging in the Kamas Utah area to begin with...lucky for us we didnt need a lot of options...we just needed the best option and found it in Woodland Farmhouse Inn. We stayed in the Cowgirl, which is a spacious apartment off the main house and it was just perfect for us. Full kitchen, comfy King size bed, lots of room to spread out and relax but best of all...pet friendly! That was extremely appreciated! Sheri - the innkeeper - is a beautiful woman inside and out and Im really thankful to have had an opportunity to sit and chat with her on our last day at the inn. The Woodland Biscuit Company is within walking distance from the Inn...so yummy - great lunch spot! We would highly recommend Woodland Farmhouse Inn to anyone visiting the Kamas/Park City Inn area of Utah. You wont regret it!!! Pictured is The Cowgirl...the whole front half of the building was our space.
