  Brilliant place to stay in Galway

  Recently had occasion to stay Fra number of days in this location and it has everything. Great food and very pleasant reception. Joe and Bridie couldnt do enough to make my stay more comfortable. Rooms are excellent and I dont need a large shower as I am not washing my horse lol I can certainly recommend this location without hesitation.

  Enjoyed both the accommodations and the hosts.

  We only had one night to spend at and with this location and hosts but sincerely enjoyed their warm company and comfortable accommodations. Breakfast was delightful and plentiful. We shall stop by once again when our travels take us to Lisdoonvarna. Cheers to you both. Paul and Carol... (Louises friend's)

  Bridie is a beautiful soul! We kinda got off on the wrong foot but that was the travel agencies fault..we specifically asked to Not be put in a city and this is smack dab in the middle of Galway! We had a beautiful stay! The rooms were newly remodeled and cozy. Bridie is so sweet and has a variety of breakfast items available with the main one being Irish Breakfast. in the evenings because it was unseasonably warm we would lay in the grass on towels we bought and watch the traffic until it cooled down. Gorgeous rose garden!

  Amazing place and fantastic value

  What a lovely place to stay with great facilities, a superb breakfast and a wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a super clean and friendly to stay.

  Woodhaven Lodge, Galway. There are no strangers here, only friends you havent yet met. W.B.Yeats. This delightful Bed and Breakfast nestles on the edge of Galway City. It is managed and owned by Bridie and Joe Curran. Bridie is a charming host who ensures each guest is given a warm welcome and goes out of her way to make a stay at Woodhaven Lodge memorable and pleasant. This large, spacious Guest House is bright, airy, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. Bridie and Joe are native Irish speakers and have a learned knowledge of all the many tourist attractions and places to visit when visiting the City of the Tribes. The breakfast at Woodhaven is the full Irish, cooked to order and perfection. Also, on offer is an alternative of a lighter breakfast, again cooked to order and very well presented. Woodhaven Lodge offers superb value for money and well worth a visit. I stayed three nights recently and as I was leaving, a line from the famous poet, WB Yeats came to mind; There are no strangers here, only friends you havent yet met.
