  Nice gardens and venue

  Well appointed room. Food available on site. Breakfast is supplied - bread for toast and cereal. Nice and quiet with a great pool. The only drawback is the distance from the airport and $15 charged each way for transport.

  Excellent Food, Great Staff, Lovely Grounds

  Stayed here for 4 nights. The restaurant meals were large, delicious and reasonably priced. The staff from the reception right through to the Cleaners were lovely and super helpful. One of the owners also went out of their way to help us, for which we greatly appreciate. The only fault I could find is the drinks were a little pricey, but you do have to take into account that they have to import everything up from the mainland which is quite costly in itself. Pool area is great and well maintained. It is a very short walk to the Horn Island Ferry and they do have an airport pick up and drop off service as well. Our rooms were very comfortable with a large TV and breakfast is provided as a self serve option in your mini fridge, we had bread for toast and spreads, fruit, juice, muffins and cereals. Plus coffee and tea facilities. The bar area has a great beer garden at the back with decent views, plus there is an ATM on site. We highly recommend this place, and would stay here again.

  All you need

  Stayed for two nights on business and was happy with the room and service. Everything was very clean, tv was large and bed comfortable. Continental breakfast filled me up in the morning. Would be happy to stay there again.

  Quiet, comfortable and clean rooms with nice gardens

  Comfortable and clean room with plenty of tea and coffee and a very adequate "do it yourself" breakfast with juice, muffin, cereal, toast and condiments. Gorgeous pool and gardens for relaxing after travelling. The restaurant was excellent with plenty of variety, generous portions and beautifully prepared meals. Overall, it was excellent value for money and I would recommend it and stay there again.

  The Wongai Beach Hotel is a lovely place to return to after exploring Horn and Thursday Is. The twin room was really well equipped, laid out well and had a very clean bathroom. The swimming pool was lovely to swim in and our verandah was a pleasant place to hang out. The restaurant food was great. The hotel does have WIFI which we did not use. Recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.
