  Uno de los mejores del Zillertal

  Desde ya hace cuatro años voy a este hotel por motivos de trabajo y es uno de los mejores hoteles en la zona. El ambiente es muy familiar. El personal siempre atento. La comida es excelente. Quien quiere alojarse en el Zillertal de Tirol debería ir al Schiestel así va a disfrutar al máximo.

  Beautiful hotel in a romantic setting!

  My husband and I stayed at the Schiestl for a few days this past July. What a wonderful experience! The hotel had been recommended to us by some of our relatives who have stayed there over ten times. It was a great recommendation. Terrific accommodations with amazing views of the mountains, delicious food, and above all, wonderful customer service. We even met the owner, Marianne, who couldnt have been more lovely. A special shout out as well to our waiter. (Unfortunately we dont remember his name, but he was from Hungary originally). Not only did he help us with food suggestions, but he gave us great information about activities in the area. All in all, an amazing place, we would definitely stay again!

  Returning home to the family Schiestl

  Such a perfect holiday again, spent at The Schiestl family hotel. We we lucky enough to stay in the recently built apartment, which was absolutely perfect. It has absolutely everything you need for a family holiday, whether that is self catering, or as we, 3/4 board at the hotel. The food, as always, was delicious and the staff make you feel so welcome.....nothing is too much trouble. If you are looking for a holiday in the fresh air, with beautiful food, in a stunning setting, this is the perfect place.

  Delightful

  Lovely hotel with great facilities, close to the main ski lift in Fügen.. staff very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Great food, we went half board and the breakfast was plentiful with loads of options, fresh eggs etc. Dinner very tasty, salad and cold buffet starters with fresh homemade soup and main courses delicious on all three nights of our stay. Our room was very spacious with sun terrace, bathroom a very good standard, and a separate walk in wardrobe. Spa facilities excellent. Overall very happy and would recommend. Note - Fügen is not linked by ski lift to Hochfuegen and Hochzillertal, you need to get a bus but its easy, and the hotel also has a shuttle in which they kindly took us to Kaltenbach one day when we missed our bus. Thanks to all at the Schiestl hotel for a great stay!

  Great Hotel, Great Facilities, very welcoming

  What a superb hotel, you wont be disappointed!!! By chance I discovered it, and Im glad I did!! I was over working in Austria for half term, but had a couple of days before starting and booked to stay at this hotel for two nights. I was by myself, which isnt always welcoming, but felt a warm welcome at this hotel and was made to feel at home by the staff. The leisure facilities are great. I would probably say that to enjoy the full experience it would be better with older children or adults as the wellness area was probably one of the best have been in with adult pool and sauna area, but I did see a great family pool and a family area in a separate area which also looked great. I was bed and breakfast, but did have two meals in the bar area at the side of the hotel that was great quality, a massive schnitzel one night and a beautiful chicken salad the next (for my solo valentines meal!). I would recommend it even if not staying at the hotel and there seemed a good mix of people there. Room was exceptionally clean and spacious and was very well appointed. My one piece-more for awareness is that whilst exceptionally close to the fugen lift and on the ski bus route. It isnt particularly close to the zillerbhan, if skiing further along the valley is your wish. On saying this I had a car, the bus service stopped outside and theres good skiing in fugen + I did see a hotel minibus so am sure you would be catered for if going further afield is your wish. All in all I cant fault this hotel, it was a great, very welcoming experience and hope to go back again next year. Great facilities , great room with stunning views!!
