  Beautiful rooms on the outskirts of Shanghai centre, close to the MRT!

  Lovely and clean room, tastefully decorated and amazing views. Really comfortable and modern facility, the elevators can get a little congested as they aren't really fast enough for 21 stories and being only three of them it can be a little frustrating at peak times. Staff are great, very friendly and always have a smile for you. Location is only a limited amount of stops on the MRT before you are in the centre of beautiful Shanghai! Early morning call from the building site next door at 8am sharp, isn't an issue as there is so much to explore. I just hope the building in progress doesn't spoil the view. Breakfast limited for a western palate, but plenty of tasty local food to eat.

  Close to the University

  I enjoyed my stay at the Wisdom Hotel. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is in abgreat neighborhood for walking and eating at local restaurants. It's very close to the subway station. The breakfast was very different not many options for Westerners.... The breakfast included random beans and warm milk for cereal, tea eggs, noddles and ect.... The fresh fruit and toast was good. I would stay here again.... Shanghai breakfast can be very challenging for Westerners but keep an open mind.... Breakfast in Beijing is awesome!

  A bit disappointed

  Nice ans large room and decent size barhroom. AC was not working properly and although I reported it, nothing was done to fix it. Water in the shower stays very warm, even with the cold water tap fully on. Located near a subway station which is convenient. Also not far from the stadium. Didn't try the breakfast buffet. Overall it's a just ok hotel.

  Clean rooms and comfortable beds

  We stayed at Wisdom hotel for 4 days and enjoyed the stay. The staff were helpful and the room was large, comfortable, and clean. I appreciated the in room music and comfortable bed after long days of touring. The hotel is on the outskirt of Shanghai so you will need transportation to the bund and sights. I enjoyed the neighborhood around the hotel and the breakfast each morning. All in all, I would happily stay again.

  Nice rooms, friendly helpful staff

  I enjoyed my stay at the Wisdom Hotel. The price was very reasonable, and we had a very spacious, clean room with a king bed. The bathroom was large with all the necessities included. Also included was breakfast for TWO people. We found the breakfast buffet quite nice with everything you could ask for. The Wisdom Hotel is located on a quiet, almost private feeling street that is only a 3-5 minute walk to the Chifeng Road line 3 subway station. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our stay to four nights. When we decided to take a weekend trip to Nanjing, Kevin at the front desk was more than happy to store some of our luggage until we returned. Many of the front desk and other staff speak English. I would recommend this hotel!
