  Deposit vs Advanced Payment

  The staff were really helpful. The asst manager is terrible. He does not know the diff between deposit and advance payment. And insist that he will not give us back the cash deposit in lieu of credit card payment. Too bad we do not have enough cash with us that's why we need the cold csh we deposited.

  City Center

  In the middle of everything. City Center. You can feel the citys busy day. Be sure to stock food and water becuase at night every store is closed. Value for money, you get what you paid for. Thanks Winzelle Suites!

  Credit card??

  I already booked two rooms here good for two nights on Au.2-4, now I just want to ask if do I need to show them the credit card that I used to pay the bill in the front desk?! Because it was payed by one of my colleagues.. because last time I also had a problem like this in Manila.. and because I cant show the card, I need to pay them cash.. and it sucks because its a waste of money... hope you can answer my query.. thanx

  You get what you pay for, but still needs improvement to attract more guests

  I am going to write the PROS and CONS of this hotel. We booked 5 nights for our vacation en mi ciudad de Zamboanga. PROS: 1. City Center - the hotel is located at the center of the City Proper. Most malls are within reach, almost a stone's throw away only. 2. Very affordable - we booked a room that costs only 1,350.00 / night. Not bad actually, since it is in the center of the City. 3. Friendly Front Desk Staff - mostly all of them actually. I only found one that wasn't a friendly type, but this shouldn't bother you much. The kitchen staff are friendly, and speak Chavacano - really sounds good when locals speak the language. 4. Free breakfast - For a cheap rate, who would have thought a free breakfast is available? CONS: 1. Stingy Comfort Rooms - the CRs smell bad. There were drain flies flying around the comfort room as well. The foul smell appears to be coming from a drainage. I think the CR drain is directly connected to the drainage. You need to cover the shower drain with a tissue, as not to spread the foul smell to the whole room. 2. Not-so-efficient Door-lock System - When the key card is swiped at first, second or even third time, the door still won't open. You need to have patience trying until the door unlocks. 3. Air-conditioning not working well - we had to transfer to a new room since the one was still not cold enough even after an hour that the A/C is turned on. All dials turned to their maximum already, still not that cold. I could even feel my sweat flowing down my neck. The second room's A/C was not that good as well - only workaround I did was to move the bed so that it would be directly under the A/C. 4. Cracks on walls - there are many cracks on the walls, even in the CR. 5. If you are expecting a small refrigerator or a cooler, you won't find one. Overall, this is a good hotel - price-wise actually. I hope they look into the A/C system and the bad smell coming from the drain. With this two issues taken care of, I think I will recommend this hotel already 100%, and the rating would have been 5 stars.

  Great location

  Staff are friendly, room are spacious and clean and a/c was cold. It has great location near malls, restaurants, cityhall, ports, church and paseo del mar. tou can leave your baggage without additional cost.
