  My Daughters Birthday

  We booked a couple rooms for my Wife, Daughter, a couple of my Daughters friends, myself and of course our dog. We booked our stay so my Daughter and her friends could have use of the pool and waterslide. Although the Hotel is a little older than some of the Hotels in the area we found it to be clean and very well kept. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My Daughter forgot something in the room when we checked out on Sunday but, didnt realize it until Monday evening. I called Tuesday morning to learn they had the item there. Housekeeping kept it safe. When I got back there to pick it up it was waiting at the front desk for me. Normally, we would not seek to stay in a Hotel in Edmonton as we live in Edmonton. However, if I need to stay in a Hotel in Edmonton again, I know where I would stay. The restaurant across the parking lot Homefire Grill (also run by the Hotel) is also very friendly. The food is absolutely amazing. I had (what I think is) the Best Bison Burger I have ever eaten and Ive eaten a Lot of Bison Burgers in a lot of places. I will go back there and try to Bison Meatloaf. I plan on bringing some friends with me. Michael Morrison Edmonton, AB

  LOVE THIS HOTEL

  Ive stayed at this hotel twice now, once in October and again in December. I cant say enough good things! The rooms are clean & beds are comfortable. The price is very reasonable & the pool/slide/hot tub make it a fun little getaway. The staff are friendly & professional. Front desk was kind enough to forward calls to my room & helped me look up an address when I didnt have my cell phone. There is a restaurant next door that delivers (incredibly good) food to the room which is just the cherry on top! Im just about to book my 3rd stay here, definitely my favourite hotel in Edmonton.

  Horrible staff/rambunctious kids running around screaming

  DO NOT STAY. The front desk staff Sara, had her children there and she was not helping me at all. trying to check out, and Her children were screaming and throwing things. very unprofessional. she was not apologetic and was very rude to me and my husband. I asked for the manager, She stated she was the manager. She should not work there with her ugly attitude and having her children there was unacceptable. Such a disgrace as a so called manager.

  Best Place in Edmonton

  The wife and I always stay at this hotel. The staff are always friendly and accomodating. The hotel is well kept and I noted they take great care with the new COVID restrictions, which gives us a sense of comfort while in Edmonton. The amenities are great and require you to book ahead of time due to COVID restrictions, this of course gives us a peace of mind knowing our safety comes first. As well, on the same lot there is an excellent restaurant called Homefire Grill, the ambiance is excellent and the food exquisite that makes any date night special. When not with the wife, I stay at this hotel on business as well, as this hotel is perfect for business purposes as well.

  Disappointed

  We all have to adapt to Covid times. Most hotels have sanitizers in the rooms and no housekeeping is offered unless you need something. Perfect. Not here. No hand sanitizers. And housekeeping comes knocking at our door. Not a huge deal but definitely odd. Then theres the fact I called twice on check in day for a couple questions/requests. Not once did they advise me to book pool times. In fact, when we initially booked, we were told we could book pool times when we check in. Fine. We get here Friday about 6pm....absolutely nothing available for pool times until Sunday for a piddling 30 mins! Apparently the hotel is booked solid for some strange reason. Oh wait. Yes. We observed many Indigenous families gathering in rooms, we can hear their drumming and singing. As beautiful as that was......no swimming for my family which why we wanted a staycation. What a waste of money to be here!!!!! So useless! We will never stay here again. Yes. Covid times are difficult to navigate and everyone is done with it. I dont even care people gathered. Not my business and we need each other. We need our people more than we need malls.
