  Home away from home

  I have had the privilege of staying with Kim and Tom for 12 weeks while working in the area. I can't say enough of the hospitality and the friendly, caring attitude of everyone I came across during my stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Thank you to all, I will be back.   Do not stay here if you are a group

  We were so excited about staying here as the previous owners welcomed groups like ours with open arms and even came and hung out with us and played with the boys but we had the exact opposite and were extremely disappointed. We were quite a large group who booked out a large proportion of the rooms yet they did not like the kids swimming in the pool, us being in the barbecue area even though it was only 6.30pm. They put a "tired traveller" in the room right next to the pool area and told us to leave the pool when we were having a team barbecue and it was only 7.30/8pm which, given it was holiday period was very early. Once the kids were kicked out of the pool they all congregated in one of the bigger rooms to watch TV and were told off for this too. You just couldn't win with these guys, hence I would not recommend this for any group booking ever and have told people not to stay here. It was not cheap either and they just seemed very unhappy we were there - the boys were on a club trip and loving being in HB and very polite etc so if you are considering this for 11-12 year olds and parents please DON'T there are plenty of other places who will welcome you far better and treat you like normal human beings.

  My Dad and sister stayed here as they were going up to inspect a bike to buy The hotel I was looking at a week ago had unfortunately sold out and this hotel even though it was a little further out was the only one available with a 1 bedroom appartment My dad on return home said he was glad the other place had sold out as this hotel was way better Very clean, quite, friendly staff and everything they needed to suit their stay

  Great place to stay in Havelock North

  Great place to stay if you are looking for somewhere nice and quiet and close to Hastings & Napier. Friendly staff, lovely clean room, we had the room by the pool and it was still nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again when we are in the area

  Amazing stay. Beautiful hotel

  Had a great stay here. Amazing rooms. The service was fantastic. Injured my leg during my stay and the staff were super helpful and caring. A really enjoyable stay. Just like the photos. Will be back! Thank you so much team you are amazing
