DreadfulOur son booked us in Christmas night as his place has been through fires and he thought it would be nice. No one at the desk when we arrived had to call three times. Only one other lot of people there. Room upstairs so had a view. Thats where it stops. Floor had not been vacuumed air con falling to pieces and didnt really work well. I was quite hot and had had a big day so decided on a nice shower. No water pressure and you could have either hot or cold not both at the same time. As nothing close was open for dinner we had brought something to eat on the balcony. One teaspoon only. Would never let our son know as he would so disappointed. Room is dated. Bed small and hard. Balcony furniture is a mismatch of old faded plastic chairs and a rocky table. Not the motel stay we expected. Cant wait to get home to gave a decent shower. Would not recommend this motel.

Very quiet location and easy parking. This Motel has had some bad reviews in the past. I stayed there on the 16th January 2020 and it must have changed hands again (as Motels often do). I found it extremely clean, everything worked well and the surroundings were very quiet and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and obviously glad of the business. I lived in the Hawkesbury for 30 years and never had any reason to stay in a local Motel. But now, coming down from the Central Coast I needed a bed. This Motel is situated on the river and had it not been raining, I could have quite easily enjoyed by 5pm wine on the balcony overlooking the river. Please do not let past reviews judge this establishment because I found the premises very clean, very quiet and very convenient. And everything worked....the shower was perfect....the tea making facilities were welcoming and the bed was dreamy. Give them another go, I'm sure you won't be disappointed 2nd time around. Thank you Windsor Terrace Motel for my pleasant stay.

not happywe had work down that way so we thought would stay here it was a bad mistake lack of maintance. Tops of air condition had not been cleaned, curtain fell down when closed it . There was mould on the roof of shower also lawns had not been mowed. For the price of $120 a night was not worth it the place has been neglected and would not stay there again if working over that way

First and last stay hereBooked by phone, and the lady was friendly, and recommended we spend extra ($20) on the deluxe room, and I'm glad I did as the basic room would have been unbearable. The lack of maintenance was apparent and every surface had a thick layer of dust. The A/C is under size for the area, and sounds like a V8 motor. The guy on reception was not the least bit friendly, and when I asked for the WI-FI password he just pointed to a sign to pay $5 per hour, which isn't a lot of money, but we had been in a different motel each night for the past 2 weeks and they all had free wi-fi, even the youth hostel in the Tasmanian wilderness. Pros - good parking. Close to shopping and a good selection of restaurants/ take-aways and a pub. Cons - Old and tired (but could be nice if managed better). Dirty - dust everywhere, and screen door to the balcony was disgusting No internet included. No microwave oven. Manager reminded of Basil Faulty. Mould in the bathroom tiles, and some cracked floor tiles. For $120 a night, I wasn't expecting the Taj Mahal, and wasn't disappointed on that front.

No maintenanceWe needed the location, which was great. Large (hardly occupied) car park. Reception wanted to charge us $10 extra for a second person (in the same bed), so I went online and booked it. Room was in very poor state. Broken and damaged furniture. Heating (air conditioning) did not keep the room warm enough. No spare blanket so we stripped the second bed (sorry). Shower was a fine spray and wasn't warm enough. Toilet paper was single ply. Bathmat and hand towel were threadbare and holey. The room clean consisted of new towels and soap and the bedspread pulled up over the pillows. Nothing else. Nice view (although we saw mosquitoes in the middle of winter) of the river and the mountains. The bed was ok. I would stay again but really think they need to spend money on the place.
