  Freezing-coldest night ever

  We stayed here in December 2019 for our anniversary and our room was freezing the entire time. Unfortunately, there was no innkeeper on site to discuss this with. The hallway outside our room was toasty warm and other guests said they opened a window because their room was so hot. It was a long freezing miserable night for us. Beware of BnBs in old homes in the Winter I guess. I hate leaving bad reviews so I will add the breakfast was delicious and fortunately we were only there one night.

  Hottest Night Ever

  I stayed in the blue room in January 2020 and was very uncomfortable. The room was cooking hot with no thermostat to control. I was wasn't able to open a window. I layed awake all night listening to the dogs pant, and hoping it would cool down. In retrospect I wish I'd phoned the Innkeeper in the middle of the night but I did not. In the morning I found a remote control for the ceiling fan that may've helped but was only aware of a wall switch that did not turn the fan on. The temp in the hall and other rooms was fine. I left a note in the morning but not sure it was ever found, i.e. no response. Otherwise the place nice, clean, and breakfast was great. But I lost a whole night of sleep due to extreme temp...

  Pandemic Wedding

  Thank you so much for your hospitality and Maggie's cooking skills. We apologize for the late reviwe, but our stay was lovely and accomodating us dueing the current events will always hold a place in our hearts! The ceremony was perfect, the cake was delicious, flowers were beautiful and Maggie helped us with a delicious, romantic dinner to celebrate our nuptials. Walkability was great and close to anything you need during your visit to Williamsburg. When Williamsburg opens up again, we will be back!

  Definitely stay here!!!

  I truly cant say enough about our experience at Williamsburg Manor. We arrived late and our room was ready for us and sparkling clean! We woke up and our breakfast was hot and delicious! My kids LOVED the cheese grits, eggs and pancakes (with homemade marshmallow sauce)! Internet worked great too. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you for the amazingly clean and comfortable accommodations and delicious food!!!

  Beautiful, loved our stay and our breakfast

  The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. There were treats and coffee all day long. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was superb! The only downside was that it got really cold in the downstairs room but they offered a space heater. It was only a 7-10 min walk to merchant square/ colonial Williamsburg. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and this was perfect staycation during the pandemic. Maybe offer breakfast in bed option to guests if they want to really socially distance? Great stay, highly recommend!
