  Great hotel and cute city center

  The hotel was very clean, organized and well decorated. Alot of welcoming history. Staff was amazing! There are places to eat and drink and also to listen to live music. Great getaway with plenty of things to do.

  Hotel with a true sense of the community

  Not fancy but perfect - comfortable, very large room. Very comfortable beds. The kitchenette was a bonus. Great location for our needs. Decorated with wit but not overly kitschy. The adjoining coffee shop is very good. All staff friendly, helpful, just plain nice. This young couple has done a super job of reclaiming and restoring an historic building to be an asset to the town. We felt comfortable and welcome - no "airs".

  Slice of history

  Staff is friendly, but rarely seen. Hotel is centrally located across from courthouse (but along the highway with a lot of truck traffic, so rooms facing front are noisy). Abe Lincoln Suite was decorated with a lot of Abe Lincoln pictures which was creepy to me. There was no tv remote (which owner knows, but hasn't replaced for quite some time apparently) so it was really annoying to stand there and go through 100 channels - ended up just giving up and not watching tv. Breakfast was disappointing - fruit selection was only 2 very ripe bananas, jogurt, oatmeal, 2 glass jars half filled with cereal, packaged bread with only 1 slice and end piece left in it! Better than nothing I guess. Had a "haunted" experience which was unnerving.

  Step back in time with all the modern conveniences

  The newly renovated WW Hotel is a landmark in the region. The new owners have fully, tastefully renovated the 1838 structure with full modern conveniences while maintaining the original charm. Friendly, comfortable, relaxing, quiet and charming. We will be back! As a side note, they have onsite both a great coffee shop and BBQ restaurant.

  Not overly impressed

  Dont expect a modern hotel room. This is an old building that has been renovated. Granted it was a hot day when I was there, the air conditioning didnt keep the room cool. Additionally, this is a three floor hotel with no elevator. Be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs
