  very good hotel

  The service was very good and the rooms were fine and clean, breakfast was also very good and the staff were always helpful. The location was slightly out of the city centre but only a very short walk from the tram station and a 5 minute ride to the city centre. This hotel gave excellent value for money and was recommended to us by a friend who was a local person. The hotel manager was an exceptionally nice man and gave of his time to advice on the city sights. Absolutely no complaints I had an excellent stay.

  Bergwirtschaft Wilder Mann, Dresden

  For citytrips is this Hotel verry good.You looks from your window down to Dresden. With a car you drive 5 min. to the city of Dresden. The rooms are clean and large. Breakfast is good and the beds are comfortable.

  Really crowded but a good stay

  We could barely find a parking space but finally got checked into the best hotel in the immediate area. Still a few KM from downtown Dresden. The desk spoke good English and was very helpful. The gave us some chocolate candy balls as a welcome gift. We had another new key card to get in the room. But, there were padded chairs and a small glass table. The room had adjustable heat. The memorable item was the shower. First, the floor was made of stones in concrete. In other words, it was not flat, it hurt the feet. Then, there were the water fixtures. Everything was square or rectangular, even the shower head. It took some cautious experimentation to get the water on and then regulate the heat. Otherwise, the room was clean and the towels adequate.

  Very good except 2 small points

  Very nice hotel and close the the A4 for easy access. Breakfast was more than adequate for my needs. I only had 2 problems that prevent it from being Very Good. 1. Location is right under the final approach for the Dresden ariport. So, on a warm night with the window open, the final flights are coming right over your room. I was on the even room number side of building B. But, the view from this window was nice. 2. W-Lan was not free. This is t first place in many years that I have had to pay for wireless.

  OK but not more

  I was on a very busy business trip. So the fact that the wifi did not work was really bad. And staff in the evening kind of neglected it. But rooms fine and the restaurant as well . Nice panoramic view from the terrace
